I know nit will be happy to see that! My friend wanted to root with one click. I told him not to use it. Low and behold, it has been removed. No of use can find it

yeah they removed it a few weeks ago it seems...but its still alive on the interwebz for those who "need" it :rolleyes:

theres nothing "wrong" with it per say...other than it lets it people who have yet to research the pros/cons and ins/outs of root....root

this can lead to problems as it gives superuser access to the uninformed who may then proceed to delete the wrong files/apps and get themselves in a stick situation :)
 
I have a copy on my sdcard. I download a lot and backitup to sd then remove it. Kinda addicting really...lol
 
Google isn't against root. Just look at the Nexus and Nexus S from google. They just can't host something so contrary to the wishes of the carriers. Not really right seeing how we buy and own the phone but that's a discussion beat to death.

I don't think anyone said google was against...my point was what was wrong with phone only root apps
 
I wasn't directing my comment to anyone's either. Just makingthe point that I don't think root is really a bad thing. Actually I think it is a good thing. Like on a pc if people were allowed root on devices they own they would spend time workingFOR security instead of against it to preserve root. Locking people out of their own devices promotes flaws andweakens the platform. Waste efort if you Ask me.
