Do we know if this or other devs are working on a 1click root for gingerbread? Don't say gingerbreak, cause it doesn't work on the o.t.a. Update.
 
yeah, the reason is because there is no reason to worry about doing all that if we can just restore back to froyo and if we have the pre-rooted gb rom.

Do you need help getting from gb to gb root? Please ask. We'll help. :)
 
Im new to this.. I need instructions, step by step. Which apps ill need, where to get em, and how to do it...
K, got droid2 bootstrap. Looked through the instructions... what is a mirror? I can't figure out which of all those links I should use or how to use them...
 
The instructions are in the rooting and upgrading guide at the top of the forum, mirror is a term for a second (or more) place from which you can download a file.
 
Ok. So out of the 3 mirrors I only need one of them? Can I install them straight to my phone and transfer them to my sd card or do I need to put them on a computer first? I found a good instructional video on youtube but i'm unsure about those 2 things...
 
K. I got what I need I think.. I got part one and two installed on my sd and I got droid 2 bootstrap. Inns do it when im off work in the morning.
