Has anyone tried this? [ROM] Zen-Aria: HTC Aria Port. Updated 08-29-2010. - xda-developers

I was thinking about giving a run but was curious if anyone had tried this yet

Not really a fan of Sense but I keep looking for something I like, I have tried Zen EXP and Fresh and neither did much for me.
I guess I like AOSP roms better

My biggest turn off is the STOCK sense. I prefer the expresso sense and themed so that the bottom bar is the way that I want it (not the current options is has at the bottom).

Anyone read up on some of this ROMs features? I've been running ZenHero ROM and its been great, full flash working

I am quite interested in this rom and will try it out soon, I played with an Aria at an at&t store and despite having near identical specs to the hero, it was wayyy smoother.

This rom is buttery smooth, the smoothest sense rom imo, and i've used fresh, zen 2.2, and rooted stock .

This is smooth, especially for a Sense rom. The Elegant Envy theme has the expresso bar, with a custom one on the way, I think. Definitely check this out, theme too and be sure to turn on animations in spare parts. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=768540

I've only been on it for about a day but it is by far the best alpha release I've ever tried. 143 MB free with apps2sd.

I am running it, seems super fast for a Sense rom.

Switched back to the nightly CM 9/2 Rom and it makes Zen Aria seem twice as slow...

really? its gotten that better? hows the battery life?

Zen Aria's battery life is much better than most roms out there...

I've been running this. There is a problem when you restart the phone where it hangs on the HTC screen (trying to load sense). Can hang for up to 20min (or more).
