Root ZV4 De-Sprint'ed and De-LG'ed..mostly.

This was the first boot after exiting cwm. If anything was frozen or deleted, it was the Rom creator.
Sands, I did try after rebooting. When the phone first tried to activate, I saw a 3g icon for a split second. Once I got the authentication failed message, it's as though it wasn't even trying anymore.
I'm pretty good with adb, I knew exactly what to do... Lol, it was more about me not wanting to get out of bed and go get my laptop from the car :O
 
He said he got an authentication error because he was on vm in post #16... So maybe vm isn't the cause.
But then how in the hell does Bart have service?
 
i think perhaps he did a factory reset/data wipe before flashing from cwm...i did not wipe anything, just booted to cwm and flashed...somehow it just flashed and kept all my apps and settings

I maybe its just because i just woke up and I'm working on my first cup of coffee but I planned to install this today but im running the no carrier specific ROM now, how should i flash this is cwm? Should i do the factory reset, normal wipes, flash this and super su, and then wipe cache and dalvik? I really don't want to go without service, the voicemail doesn't matter to me because i rarely take or make phone calls :confused:
 
OK! I've been able to fix the profile update authentication! It needs qcmsgtunnel as well as the hidden menus. I'm going to send it up later! Stay tuned.
 
Have a sneak peek at the next build!

Oh yeah, I did run that one. It ran fine. Just a bug (might have been VM) where activation didn't work. (Running ##UPDATE# did run HFA [Hands Free Activation] just fine though...)

Yeah, I flashed it this morning and everything seems to be going fine so far! Are you using Linux or Windows to bake your ROMs? I tried to make one from the original one donjuro posted but I had to test it myself first and I got status 6 over and over again no matter what I tried so I took a break to learn more. my guess is that the updater-script didn't compile right. I deodexed my favorite apps and made ViperFX and Greenify &WiFi tether system apps with yours, and flashed that deodex zip and then the latest gapps and SuperSU and everything seems smooth so far. I had to do the HFA but I'm use to that with the volt now. I'm just theming now, great work man :D

I use Windows, Notepad++, and WinRAR. I make sure that the updaterscript has no lines that point to a nonexistent file. Check the script and make sure that faulty lines are taken out..☺
