Root ZV6 V.5 Stock Mod - Debloated - No Gapps

i added the sdcard fix for platform.xml so it does what it does. apps do move to external and you can also read, write properly with the fix. experiment with it versus your sdcard xposed module and see whether or not one works better or maybe both in conjunction works best. I just use the built in fix which does what I need it to. When moving an app,the lg settings menus wont show the extra panel for apps on external. you can however view them by booting in to recovery and using the built in file manager to see your apps in .android_secure.

Oh I can tell you that you can download directly to external using Opera Mobile with the built in platform fix for external sd. You can get rid of that xposed module. Any browser that lets you select your download directory should save to external.

Smooth, no hiccups.
Battery is doing great (I shut down broadcast receivers with MyAndroidTools Pro [MAT]). Viper4Android not installed yet. Stock boot, Adreno mod, Xposed modules listed in previous post, and Apps2SD (V. Bonick) are present

Re: disabling
I went into Google Play Services through the MAT. I disabled all of the Wearable, Fitness, and selective other features i don't want/need. All of them have background services that run constantly.
I disabled NFC, I just dont use it.

Also +/- 6 hrs. sleep (for me and the phone,) and +/- 15 mins. of flashlight use.

Yeah battery life went way up after clearing out a lot of crap that came on the device. I typically do a lot of zip creation and extraction directly from the device and most of my web use is mobile. Watch movies and more. The rom came packed with useless trash from the factory like fonts for other countries (among others),crap meant for other carriers, useless app overlay directory,on and on. Just removing junk files and apps I know I would never use saved roughly 500 plus megs. Oh and a tip for spund enhancements when it and the launcher appear in notifications...just open app info and turn off notifications. No more notifications prompts.

If I'm already on zv5, do I need to install the zv5 radio? I'm going to give this a try later. I've been running a debloated stock rom for awhile now and want a change.

using gapps was never intended with this rom. thus no gapps. you will get the nag. i never use google related apps anymore due to updates being intergrated in to their crap. i dont like them forcing anything on me regardless of their intentions.

i appreciate that very much. i dont do any where as much as i used to though. this isnt really that much except putting particular things together and some basic icon theming really. there are others here who really do some heavy lifting though. go and show support to them. they give you the big boy roms.

Ooohh:oops::eek:.....I wasnt disrespecting them in the least.

Id like to see even more BIG BOY ROMs come to the device (LiquidSmooth, OptiPop,...). More people we get on board, the better our problem solving will be (hopefully).

i knew you weren't bro definitely. i just dont deserve nor want credit or anything else. i like to share that's all. if i figure out something we can use or another trick i like to put it out there. the guys dropping roms like cm12 among many others here deserve credit their hauling the load. im just tinkering lmao. to quote doctor who "you can call me tom the tinker" lol

and i still want that spiffy qslide browser working like it should. all the qslide libraries and support is in the rom. just need to debrand it from carrier specific use only....which at this point i can only guess at how to do. its frustrating me lol

This ROM looks interesting. I've been delving in the Lollipop ROMs (I even ported Slim myself) but I've been missing a few things that weren't working (such as the camera and GPS), so I'm inclined to give this a shot.

What's RAM usage like? That's one of my biggest issues on any ROM I've used for the x5. and @HasH_BrowN , did the uno kernel work for you on this ROM?

I like it so far, though I am a bit lost without the Play store. I would like to avoid Gapps though so it won't keep tossing that dumb update at me.

Ram use is better than pure stock but its not like a revelation of any kind. Did manage to finally get xperia keyboard working. Kept crashing hard on me before that's why i did not add it. Heres a screen or four or five or six.. ☺ will upload it in the morning for flashing. Will need to use twrp to delete stock keyboard and its theme then flash.
