Root ZVD Awareness/Progress/Updates

Probably you have a couple of things running and the background IDK>??

P.S. You should have done a Factory Reset after you had update since they may have been some things left over, Especially if you were Rooted on ZVB.

But i'll look into to it or someone with more knowledge could jump in this Thread could help you out.

Thanks I was rooted with zvd and gingersteem and homeless kernel 1.3 before the updated maybe I should run the update again factory reset? or maybe my battery is no good cause getting 9 to 10 hours on stock should give me more under extended battery at least 20

u might have a lot of background apps running u might wanna checked that out

Will take a screenshot of that usually I am in stopping them some of them pop back up like maps, and visual voice mail, than the others are the usual regular running apps but i will stop using widget locker it seems to use a lot of process too

k if u got rom tool box go to it, first page is tools scroll down to auto start manager go down till u c maps click on it to disable it thats so it would stop running in the back ground,And for visual voice mail if u dont need it remove it ,u dont need it.
 
Ok,

I am finding out that I my have made a huge mistake. How do I find out if I have ZVD? and if so what have I done by flashing playful god gingersteem zip, can it be reverted? Is it as easy as doing all of the wipes and going back to the backup I made before the flash?

to find out is go to settings. about phone then scroll down u gonna c wat u on
also if ur on zvd and wanna go back stock zvd flash this its stock root zvd http://db.tt/oFOaEE5k

Ok super NOOB here, I do not see zvb, zvc, or zvd anywhere under status. What am I looking for? NM I found it and now wish I could delete my own post :)

Ok if anyone is reading this and cannot find it either, I think it is SW version - Mine says MS910ZVC.

I've Been out all day left the house in the East Coast, FL to be exact and went to the local Waterpark with a couple of Friends ''Rapids WaterPark:)'', also went to the movie saw The Hunger Gamespretty good should of been Rated-R Type of movie and went out to eat. Anyways haven't been on The Forums Since 7:49am and around that time and just got home.

Well I hope on the Forums now and i see that you have about 4 or 5 different Updates for ZVD.

Anyway's By Tomorrow i'm Going to be running LD-LG 1.8 for zvd and ick test 8 theme for zvd and speed kernel for zvd, Well that's if You don't put out another update at-least if it Fix things More while i'm Catching some ZZZZZZZZZ.!!!!1 Tonight cause from the looks of it your in the West Coast and you Guys are 4hours later than the East it's 11:20 now and 7:20over there.

Keep up the good Work Man and i'll keep you and the people posted on my tes of running LD LG 1.8 for zvd and ick test 8 theme for zvd and speed kernel for zvd:D

P.S. Don't Trip if you see a Repeat of this. GOing to Post this on all of you Thread on The First Page and You could to response to all of them or whatever. Anyways I'm Download all of them and heading to sleep and putting them together by tomorrow. ZVD both Kernels, ZVD Theme8 and LD-LG ZVD Rom.:)

Is there a simple guide to JUST Root on ZVD? I don't want to flash any custom roms or themes, I just want to root, and then remove some bloatware myself. Thanks!
