Is there any way to get back onto ZVD? The battery drain is HORRIBLE. I can go back to ZVB and deal with the random rebooting but thats not much of an improvement. Anyone have a solution for this yet?
if you can get back to zvb, could you not then work yourway back to zvd? just asking.and if im not mistken you could end up with more problems by not being up to date (zve).are you running a diff kernel,or rom?ive not heard of anyone complaining about battery issues on zve.i would go into settings, applicationgs, runnimg services and see whats eating up your battery,or go to battery use and see.have you updated your prl too(*228 or #228 lol get them confused) dnt think it would make a big help but it might help some.it should be 3037.
From what I've been reading, there is no bin/tot file to downgrade to zvd. I downgraded to ZVB last night, rooted and installed ZVD #2 2.4. It seems to be running fine. I will use it for while and see how it runs. So far its been snappy with no random rebooting.
ZVE on the other hand is a huge battery drainer and overheats for no reason. I uninstalled all 3rd party apps thinking that was the problem but it continued.
I am still getting 4g so I see no reason to upgrade back to ZVE. I had just wondered if there was a way to get back without downgrading to ZVB.
have u had the batt checked, maybe unhealthy,i really havent heard much of zve being a drainer,u using a diff kernel,or rom?zve is basically the tmobile n metro towers and stuff ,i believe,im running stock rooted deox, debloat and it seems to b doing fine.no oc or anything,u surf web,or social apps alot?,plus texas is alil hot right,i read someone elses was hot but they were in another state,nt sure if it makes adiff
The battery needs to be replaced, yes, but this has happened to 2 different Esteems, extreme battery drain for no reason, and temperature warning when the phone is inside (temp in the 70's) just being normally used.
None of this was happening before the ZVE update. I went back to ZVB and flashed ZVD #2 2.4 ROM. Battery life still sucks but once I replace the battery I will be able to see what's going on. I also calibrated the battery with no change. And no overclocking, in fact I underclocked it to the minimum while the screen is off but that made little difference.
