Hey everyone. I'm having a really frustrating issue with the files on my phone. I have have folders of photos in my gallery, but I go into my files and they're not there. Or the folder says it's empty, which is really weird. I'd like to move the photos to the cloud, but they're not there to move. Does anyone else have this problem? Or have any ideas as to why this is happening? Thanks.

Android 11. My phone is set to turn off the screen after 5 minutes. It is restored by pressing the power button. How can I set it so that tapping the screen restores it? I ask because I don't want to lose a phone call in mid-conversation by pressing the power key.

A few procedures that I personally find helpful after installing an update are wiping the phone's temporary Cache Partition and using Vivo's iManager.

Wiping the Cache Partition is considered best practice after a major firmware update and can solve a lot of issues, such as lagging and apps foreclosing. This does not affect your data or settings and is very simple and easy to perform.

These steps will show you how to clear your phone's temporary Cache Partition of any corrupt files and detritus that may cause issues for you.

1. Power off your Vivo Fold3. OPEN the phone and press and hold down the Power+Volume Up keys together until the "Vivo 5G FASTBOOT", screen appears, (Fig: 1), and select Recovery Mode by using the Volume Down key followed by the Power key to select.

2. On the next screen, "Vivo 5G RECOVERY", (Fig: 2), select, "Clear data", by touching it on screen.

3. On the, "Clear data", screen, (Fig:3), select, "Clear cache", and then, "OK",. This will NOT affect your settings or data.

4. When the cache partition has been cleared, (a matter of moments), you are taken to the cache cleared screen, (Fig: 4), where you should select, "Return" and you will be taken to the, "Clear cache", screen, (Fig: 3), where you select the back arrow at the top of the screen. This will return you to the Recovery screen, (Fig:2), above), where you should select, "Restart".

5. Once your device has rebooted you can then use Vivo's iManager, (Fig: 5), in the App drawer to, "Optimise", your apps and carry out a number of other tasks.

Hey everyone,

I'd like to screen mirror from one Samsung S20 FE 5G to another of the same model. They are both running Android 13 and One UI ver 5.1 & both recently updated. I've tried connecting them via the native app Smart Share wirelessly and even connected them via the USB C cable. Neither phone will even recognize the other as an available device. I have also tried the "second screen" route, whereby you access the settings menu for Smart Share then > about > & tap the smart share logo 10 times. This was supposed to access the developer options, but did not work on either of these phones. I'd like to be able to stream movies stored on the first phone to the remote mirror phone so that the kids can watch what I'm watching in the back seat on road trips & would come in handy in other situations as well. I find it hard to believe this is either impossible or difficult. Am I missing something or is this impossible to do?

p.s. - Just out of curiosity, I tried connecting two older Samsung phones via the native "screen mirror" function (Galaxy S3 & Note 4). They also failed to recognize each other as available devices to connect.

Eventually though I asked for my account to be closed maybe 2 years ago.

I still occasionally browse here, especially for the funnies.

Last few days I looked at starting a new account, but there's no option for that.

I tried the forgotten password route, though my account was definitely closed at my request.
I did not remember which email I had used, so I found my Gmail address (which I don't use for anything important or personal) had a username still open here. I probably started it a long time ago and forgot about it. It's showing no history, but that could be for many reasons. I think I never used it though.

A while back I got a jacket from walmart. Yes, I should have known better. It was ok until a few days ago when the zipper started going bonky. At first it was separated just a little at the bottom. Then it split at about the middle, with the top and bottom both open. I couldn't slide it and had to pry it apart, which opened it but I could not refasten it. Yesterday I tried to fix it and the slider came loose. How do I fix this thing?

Recently it just stopped showing up in the Moto G Play. I admit it's overstuffed but would that affect this? I can't take it out because it's practically glued in there.

It's so irritating that to move back and forth during in youtube videos I have to swipe along the progress bar to drag the progress back and forth, instead of just touching on it where you want to go like seemingly every other streaming video service.

Am I doing something wrong? it's like that on all my android devices, and those of other people too.

Hello, I have a Pixel 6 with Android 14. I'm not sure how to determine what texting app I'm using. but I assume it's the default one.

I want to use "adb put ..." to upload some audio files for texting notifications. What type of files (.mp3, .mp4) do these need to be, where should I place them, and how do I assign them as the default audio notifications, please?

I am trying to transfer my photo albums from my note 10 + to my S24 ultra. I don't know whether or not smart switch transfers gallery albums. I'm afraid that it will just dump all of my photos into one album and I have 106 albums. It would take way too long to put them back into different albums. Does anyone know how to transfer not just photos but photo albums from one Samsung to another? Thanks.

If there is an image in Telegram or Whatsapp, the area/info at the sides are hidden before you press on the image to enlarge it, I need to press the image to enlarge it to see the whole image.

Is anyone using it? Looks like it would be a good fit for my peeps and they can choose which network to use. It gets glowing reviews so thinking about giving it a try but have a few lines out of area to not mess up with a change.

What system app is responsible for the Double tap to wake feature?

The Moto G Stylus is acting up, showing the Android lying down with door open. It says start and there are up and down arrows I can't use because the volume rocker doesn't work. The only plan I have is to let the charge run out and replug. Maybe that will fix it.

I bought my mother a tablet just for use at home, and she likes games, puzzle/connect 3 etc, and I've made her a carry stand so the tablet's permanently on it's side for netflix etc. But so many games either won't go to landscape mode or are squished in it. I understand most games are made for phones, but how can I somehow focus on games that are ideal for landscape?
