RD Connection problems

Check that 3389 is open in your Windows firewall, and have you already set up port forwarding in your router?
https://portforward.com/remote-desktop/
Thanks for the advice - the problem is I only use the tablet when I am on the road - (in hotels or AirBnB) and there it is not possible to play around with routers. I may just have to take my cumbersome Windows laptop with me because Windows Remote Control has no problems in accessing the server without fiddling around with ports.

No need, developer mode has already been enabled problem

Like two or three months ago, i opened up the developer settings with the "tap 7 times on the build number" method. And i used it, then i wanted to turn it off. To do this: i went to my application settings, found the "settings" app and cleared data and the cache. With this method, my developer settings gone.
So, i wanted to turn it on again couple of days ago, tapped on the build number and a pop-up showed up like this:
"No need, developer mode has already been enabled"
Then when i go to the main settings page, where the developer settings were in, there was no developer settings.
And yes, i know where the developer settings exactly is. So please don' t answer me like "check again", "tap on the build number for seven times", "restart your phone" or something like these.
And no, since i cant reach to the developer settings, i can't open the "OEM unlock" and "USB debugging" settings.
And i also tried the "Activity launcher" app but it didn't work too.
Please help...
I experienced the same problem with samsung galaxy J5 prime which says No need to enable but not appear in options menu like shown in the following video.

The thing is caused by the clearing of cache in settings app.

To fix this I had to factory reset. After that you will be able to enable developer options again by tapping 7 times in build number. Then it will be shown in the settings menu as shown in the following picture.

Phone Recommendation

The 'About this App' section in that link you posted shows the description and the prerequisites for the app. In this case, it states it supports down to Android 5 (Lollipop) so you have a lot of leeway as far as buying even a preowned phone. You'll be fine just using WiFi connectivity, cellular is only required if you'll be using the phone when you don't have a WiFi network available.

Just from a future-proofing aspect I'd suggest buying something cheap and new as opposed to used. You do need to be judicious when buying a used phone because you won't know it's history. Could be faulty, or the battery could just be past it's life usage so be wary using sites like Ebay and Craigslist. Swappa is a reliable used phone service, they verify the phones they sell. (side note - if the phone is stolen and blacklisted by the carriers, that's just a matter of making it hard to get cellular service, using WiFi only isn't affected and will still be fully workable.) Take into account that battery aspect though, a new phone will have a new battery, a used phone won't. There are several models with user-replaceable batteries but note that when you're buying a third-party battery it will be approximately as old as the phone model, sitting idle in some storage bin (even old batteries age, all of them do).

Notify over wifi

Install this 'WiFi Analyzer (open-source)' app on your S22 Ultra and use it to make a basic heat map of your home's WiFi coverage:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.vrem.wifianalyzer&hl=en_US&gl=US&pli=1
Stand a few feet away from your router as a baseline measurement, and then go to various rooms in your home and make measurements to gauge your wireless coverage range, checking both 2.4GHz and 5GHz band networks. Once you get some actual numerical data about where you have some weak spots of WiFi coverage, instead of just guesses and assumptions. The goal is to make sure you have a good WiFi signal reaching into every part of your household so both your phone and your watch are always connected to your home network.
If you are having problems at just 10 feet away, as you stated in your initial posting, that indicates a real problem with your router.
Have your just restarted it? If you're having problems with WiFi at just ten feet, that indicates that either it needs to be restarted to fix some one-off glitch, or it's failing. Or it's located improperly, like inside a closet or under a metal desk, blocking the WiFi signals emitted by the antenna(s). Try reading through this router placement guide for a lot a good tips on optimizing your WiFi coverage:

Do you have an ISP-supplied modem/router unit or do you have your own separate router?

Galaxy tab S5e losing internet access

If you connect your tablet to a friends WiFi or a WiFi at a hotel, does it still disconnect?

A few years back I had a Lenovo laptop that was doing the exact same thing. every other device would stay connected, but the laptop would randomly disconnect from the internet, but show connected to the router. When i would take the laptop to a hotel, and use their WiFi it would stay connected 24/7.

Google Play won't let me sign in with another account

Thanks but there is nothing I need in the Play Store worth having to wipe out everything on my phone and having to set it up all over again. Besides, I don't think this is a phone problem as I have run into similar problems where Google has made navigating through their system difficult and later finding a way through it after many tries of different things days later. Some things on Google services seem to be made deliberately more difficult than they should be, one being deleting an account. There should be a straight-forward and up-front menu item to delete an account, there's not. The problem of being run in circles when selecting to sign with a different account and is a perfect example of this.

Everything on my phone works fine; only this one site is giving me trouble. I have an old Galaxy S6 here that I tried this morning. I tried it as a troubleshooting measure and I have the same problem on it because I used to use the same old deleted accounts on it, too.

I think I will eventually find an obscure way to get through this, eventually but, like I said, I don't need anything right now that is important enough to wipe my phone clean and start over. Losing about two years worth of blocked SMS numbers is just one reason.
But wiping the play store does not delete your apps or anything downloaded. All you need to do is re-sign in with the account you want.

What countries have you visited ?

I’ve recently added Spain (Barcelona, Malaga, Canary Islands, Cadiz, Vejer de la Frontera, Puerto Banus and a couple of others) and Morocco (Casablanca) to my list, courtesy of an ocean cruise, which will conclude in San Juan, Puerto Rico. We’ll also stop in St. Maarten, so no new country there, but a new place.

I did appreciate the additional passport stamp in Gran Canaria. :)

Push Notification ERROR with Ionic app in android 12 devices

Hello everyone, everything good?

I'm having problems with push notifications (via Firebase) on some cell phone models (Samsung A and others), using Android 12 in an Ionic/Cordova app.

It turns out that I am not receiving push notifications on these devices, but on others with android 11, 10 it is normal...

Anyone with a similar problem?
Relax it is normal for push notifications be nullify, but you can head to each app and have it really activate, per app, head over to the app notifications and turn them back on. Preferablity I have most off.

Safe mode

A smartphone cannot just be switched to Safe Mode, it requires the phone to actually reboot into Safe Mode. It's not some app or background service that can be enabled/disabled. When your phone is running in its Safe Mode it's actually running the exact same Android operating system but in a different way.
Odds are your credit card wasn't 'hacked' through your phone, you should be focusing your attention to regaining your credit card account via your bank's online web service. The credit card app on your phone is just a user interface that may or may not retain some of your account data, the overwhelming bulk of your account data is stored and managed online, within your bank's servers. That's the data the app references.
Something triggered your phone to reboot itself into its Safe Mode, could be something running on your phone that's the cause or you inadvertently hit the button sequence that restarts your phone into Safe Mode (the process varies depending on just what phone you have).
