Keep in mind that Google One is just allowing you more online storage capacity, it is not a comprehensive back up service. So you've got more room to store data online, but it's not an backup/restore solution. Also, the backup/restore option buried in the Settings menu is a bit of a misleading misnomer on Google's part -- it refers to Google apps and services so setting and config changes for Google apps and things get auto-backed up but other non-Google data and files are still you're responsibility to archive.
Just how did you backup 'all' your S9 Plus? If you're not able to get Samsung's Smart Switch installed on your Macbook Pro, doing so would require you to root your device to be able to manually copy all those files/data/apps you indicated, and that would also require a rooted device to be able to then manually restore all those same files/data/apps accordingly. Typically some kind of backup/restore app or online service is involved. You could use the Smart Switch app on your phone to back up to another mobile device that also has the Smart Switch app installed but since you indicated you're using your laptop, again what app/service did you use to actually do the backup? Typically you use the same app/process to do backups and a restore when necessary.

I also ended up watching. I enjoyed it until I didn't. Hard to explain without spoilers but I feel like they just made it to make it. Had some good Dexter parts and a lot of not Dexter type filler. I was let down but knew i would be. Shouldn't have watched really, I was right to be skeptical

Well after logging into my account, throughout my mobile app, I got a url, so I typed it up on my comp, and the account was unlocked, remember to fill out those forums and email the fb app people too.

Mike, You might have more luck than me in reaching the phone from at terminal installed at a PC and using the bmgr commands. It is supposed to both backup - and in You case - recover the backup that You see at Google Drive.

There is no simple answer to this question.

If it has just got wet, turn it off and leave it off until it is thoroughly dry. Keeping it in a sealed bag or jar of dessicant for a couple of days is often recommended (silica gel is best, but uncooked cous-cous or rice can be used) - and note, I did mean "days" rather than "hours". Turning it on while there is still moisture in it risks further damage.

But if it is already damaged then it depends on what is damaged what is needed to repair it. It basically comes down to "replace the damaged components and hope that you got them all". In many cases it is not economically viable to repair it (which is why most warranties won't cover liquid damage).

So if the phone is sending the messages without error, and recipients are not receiving them? Then that's almost certainly a problem in the network, that the carrier(s) need to fix.

But you've got a real problem as far as your father's Facebook account -- if his ex girlfriend did change the password and you're now locked out, it makes no difference if you can or can't just log into his phone to use the Facebook app on it. The app will still be set to auto-login using whatever was the old password, before she changed it. You would need to re-enter that new password to authenticate access to his account.
So you've got a multilayered problem
-- Bypassing the lockscreens on his phones is not going to be easy. Unless you do run across the PIN he used, perhaps he wrote it out somewhere, the odds are you're not going to be able to log into either phone.
-- Apparently his ex girlfriend has opted to make this sad matter much more complicated than it already is. You might have to consult with a lawyer about your status on this issue. Unless there is a will stating otherwise, you being a direct family member have much more standing than she does.
