Thanks for the comments. Just to clarify - I am a novice at Android devices. I just find it suspicious that any company can modify the basic setup routine of a device that it no longer owns and do it without notifying the consumer and "owner" of the device.

Scripting unwanted bloat ware into a device routine without consumer acknowledgement is the very essence of software piracy.

And since these software scripts are inserted and running before any Google account is even created on the phone, I assume that Samsung and or Tracfone must be complicit to these acts.

you can also use youtube music.....which is nice because you do not have to have them downloaded to your phone. you can use either cellular or wifi to play them. this way you do not take up room on your phone or sd card.

Well, that didnt work either.

Stupid worthless Google Play Services has to be enabled, otherwise the 'Wi-Fi manager shuts off the Wi-Fi.
Probably the only purpose that it serves.

I cannot find sny other apl thst will take the place of the crappy stock apl,so the cursed Play Services must be enabled even if I am blocking it with my firewall.

I hate Google so much.

As soon as I can get hooked up to a computer, I will be eliminating this worthless Wi-Fi Manager.

I would do that except I travel back and forth to town, where there is excellent 5G coverage. I would like to use Airplane Mode while connected to WiFi to prolong battery life.

Samsung used to have the option to erase the phone information after something like 10 incorrect tries. I had this set in Android 9 and I no longer see this function.

I don't know if I reported this before, but I discovered that the touch screen issue only exists when the system is booted up. It does not exist in recovery mode, i.e. the touch screen works in recovery but not when the system is fully loaded.
I also found that a mouse, attached to the usb port, works when the system is fully loaded. (I haven't tried to see if it works in recovery.) This means that I can do everything, using the mouse, that I was able to do when the touch screen was working.
This, to me, suggests that the problem is software related.
One, online site, suggested that one of the many possibilities for the screen not working, could be a virus. However, I have not been able to find a (free) antivirus software that I can download and install, which will work on this system.
Any suggestions are appreciated.

A nand image of the sd card won't get you anywhere, as a new key is generated as part of the factory reset process, and is stored on the phone in a secure partition.

I wouldn't bet on an SD card lasting 5 years if used as adoptable storage. The only justification is if the device has low storage capacity.

Whatever that Open UI Home is, it is using a ton of energy.

That, and the keyboard, along with Google, is half a GB... and is probably constant.

It just seems excessive to me.
It may be normal for a Samsung, I don't know.

The Samsung A10s cell phone, after the newest updating to install Android 11 and One UI pack, had a horrible sound, a lot of hisses, it sounded like amateur radio. The only solution was to downgrade until Samsung releases a decent patch for this update.
However, after the downgrade, the device's default ringtones disappeared almost all, and the option to test the few ringtones that were left does not exist. I need to choose a ringtone and wait for someone to call me to find out what the ringtone is like.
I downloaded a ringtone in mp3 and put it in the Ringtones folder, and the sound manager lists the file, but it also doesn't allow testing, I have to choose and wait for a call... it's ridiculous, isn't it?

I ask you: which Android system app tests the sound of ringtones before applying? might it be locked after the downgrade?
Is there any website where I can find the default A10s cell phone ringtone pack to manually put in the Ringtones folder?

That's the variant of Note20 Ultra I've got, although mine was purchased directly from Samsung here in mainland China, rather than HK SAR.

It should receive updates no problems in the UK, and I've had other China version phones receive updates while they were in the UK. You can check if you already have the latest update from Samsung, by seeing if it's got the July 2021 security patch level or not.

What if you enable developer options and set the default connection type to file transfer (so you don't rely on anything asking you whether to enable that when you plug the phone in - though it should still ask whether you want to authorise transfers to that particular computer the first time you do it).

**Question :How to infuse/push/modify/install busybox SU in twrprecovery.img for getting root privilages commands**

I want to take backup restore flash change some PM Package management and SM storage Management settings of my android 5.1.1 /6.0 mobile phone through adb shell commands or through twrp terminal without installing twrp or SU or rooting mobile device



1. Firstly I want to take backup of mobile system.img userdata.img through adb pull command and then recover write back adb push

My concerns related to first :

a. As adb pull reads and copy data but adb push writes on the device
b. Will adb push work without rooting mobile phone without root privilages.
c. If phone bricked or something gets wrong while rooting and phone is not rooted then will adb push work or not.



2. Using PM package manager on unrooted mobile android 5.1.1 with following commands but error

Secondly the whole ideas is that I want to virtually temporary use twrp terminal with busybox or Super user binary to execute services packages like PM (package manager) SM (storage manager) within from twrp recovery menu terminal (loaded in fastboot boot twrprecovery.img mode). Or adb sideload If it's possible technically feasable. If yes then can we modify twrprexovery.img and infuse insert busybox in it before loading or after loading.




6. Thirdly I don't want to install twrp or busybox or any super user binary file inside mobile device and don't want to install anything inside mobile except the changes alteration of settings done after execution of SM PM commands. That is I want to execute PM SM from within twrprecovery.img temporary and make alter changes virtually not hampering mobile device files
