You know that the native camera app recognises QR codes automatically? Very handy. I also generally just use google search for currency conversion e.g. 130usd as uk pounds. It will do most unit conversions in that format: celcius as fahrenheit, inches as feet, pounds/stone as kilos.
It doesn't do The Register's own units of measurement yet though where 1 mile is 11495.5742 linguine and 1 US ton is 104.2757 adult badgers or 1.0189 great white sharks: (https://www.theregister.com/Design/page/reg-standards-converter.html)

Yes. I can log in via Apple there, which brings up my Shazams. But when it comes to transferring data, the most I can do there is export a CSV. On the Android app, there's no way to log in via Apple or to import the CSV.
