setting up 2nd phone w/less storage

Well there is Google's export/import functionality buried in the Settings menu but when you're dealing with such different phones (one being Motorola, the other Unimax) there are also going to be differences in each phone's Settings. Manufacturers, and carriers, tend to customize and brand their products so even if both phones happen to be running the same version of Android, there will be options and features in each phone's Settings that correlate directly with the specific hardware configuration of each phone.
On a superficial level both phones may appear to be at least similar, but internally each phone has its own unique hardware.
Take the time to just set up that Unimax accordingly, it's a long-term benefit to get it set up properly. Even if it is just a secondary, car phone, there's a big difference in getting a phone to do what you need it do efficiently and when there is an emergency, vs just having it available but it may or may not be able to actually function properly when you need it.

Wifi calling unavailable on Galaxy S+

Where can I check this?

Well my friend's Samsung has the Verizon logo on the back of the phone. Which I found interesting, because we're in China, and this phone was originally purchased in Jamaica.Of course we're NOT expecting any WiFi calling support from Verizon with this device.

Go into the Settings, and posts what is states in Software Information.

Presumably you've gone through the steps here.

Including the E911 emergency part?

Log.i question

I'm very new to this. So please excuse my ignorance.

This issue came out of nowhere. I've done this code nearly 100 times. Then out of nowhere the i in the Log.i doesn't turn wavey (also what is the name of the wavy i). I've done everything the same and suddenly this issue came about. Any help would be much appreciated.

Help How To Silence Interrupting Notifications?

Ok, but won't that mean I'll never get those notifications sounding off now? Maybe I should have been clearer, but I want to stop the notifications from interrupting media playing, not stop notifications sounding off entirely. Does that make sense?
I have no idea how to help you do that. me I disable them totally and i check the app when I have mood. not the app to check me when she have mood.lol

Help Mic from one device while using speaker from another?

I fly a paramotor with a helmet that has an integrated bluetooth headset. The problem is the noise isolation isnt great so I want to use some bluetooth ear buds. What I would like is to be able to play the audio out of the ear buds while using the helmet's mic for the phone calls. I have a Galaxy s21. I see that I can connect both devices at once, and can even play my music out of both speakers at once, but if I start a phone call I seem to have to choose between which device to use and can't use both.

Is there an app or something I can install to let me use the mic from one bt device while directing the audio to another while on a call or playing music?

Yet another new phone

None of my devices have ever had a case- except for the type that go onto a belt for carrying the thing.[end of epic snip]
If you took the holster off your belt to use your phone it's a case @puppykickr[/QUOTE]

Nope.
Open the flap and tbe phone comes out.

Naked.

Oh, and my holster goes on my other side, and holds something else...

Replacement for Google Play Music?!

That's not a streaming service with a full library

Actually, it can stream.
I never used it for that, and no longer use it at all, but do remember that it had some way of streaming.

Anyway, what you are dealing with is what happens to the vast majority of folks that rely upon Google for anything.

I have heard of people losing their entire music collection, even paid for, because of this change.

It is just so much easier to keep my music on my device and never rely upon some cloud to maintain my collection.

Help Battery replacement

FYI, when you need a battery for an Android device, just enter the model number of the battery itself (printed on the actual battery) into your search bar in your browser and search it.

Disregard any info that comes up about whatever device it may fit- if the model number matches, then it is the same battery.

Stay away from e-bay, and that sort of thing.
I have had excellent luck with Amazon.

Hotmail emails reappearing in gmail account

Maybe you have too many accounts registered on your emails. This can cause the large number of emails you are getting. Whenever you register on a website, you agree that you will get some informational emails. I had such a problem with my old emails. The easiest solution to stop this is to create another email. You can read on folderly.com how to get rid of these spam emails, but it will take a lot of your personal time. This is why I think that the best solution would be to create a new email and not register anything.

Help How long to do a backup to a flash drive using SanDisk Memory Zone?

The reason that I want to use the Sandisk Memory Zone app is because in addition to copy function it also has a backup/restore function. I was planning on using the backup function to copy my music to the flash drive and could then restore it if I ever needed to. Does that sound like a good plan? Or should I just do it the way that you suggested? If I just want to put a copy of my music on the flash drive I could just plug it into my Mac and copy my music that way.

I think either method is ok, as they're only copying music files from one storage medium to another.

Help - com.android.settings disabled

No, just a custom android device doing a development on.

"kiosk mode" is only something I've read about with Android, and that is either to do with prison issue tablets, like the Jpays, or a device that is used for a dedicated purpose, like for a sales counter or a tour guide device.

I'm not a dev of course, but I think if want someone to help you debug your project, maybe you need to post your code, and/or what the exact hardware is you're working on?
