When I am using talk-to-text and press the microphone icon, it makes a loud noise that I'd really like to disable or remove if possible. I cannot find a place to do that. I have the Note 10+, Android 11 and my messaging app is Google messages.

Yeah this is my worry, would I be over complicating trying to get the phone to stock, just to have a slightly bigger screen, better processor, better refresh rate.

Which honestly I may not even notice those improvements because I don't really game, and I have the Pixel 2 right now, even 90hz would be a massive upgrade to my current screen.

nope the android os is very device specific. you will need to have a development community to support your device. they usually hangout over at the xda forums. but alas there is no support for your device.....sorry.

In my case, This occurred when i was trying to pass a really long JSON string through intent extras. From what I can infer , passing a really large value through the extra bundle might lead to memory issues when starting the new intent. Try using shared preferences or serializable objects to share large stuff between activities

In recovery mode you select "Apply Update from EXT" or "Apply Update from external storage", then select the storage device, SDCard or USB drive, and then select the ZIP update package.

Most likely answer is an app update, to be honest. I don't use Messages, prefer other SMS apps, but I just tested it on my Pixel 2 and it's as you describe: touch the "+" icon to add media to a message. So I expect that's just an update to that app's UI, and the way it is now.

google drive is a cloud based backup service. it does not automatically backs up data from chrome. you would have to save the data and then move it to google drive. so unless you did back them up there, there is no need to look into google drive. as far as inspecting google drive, just either open the app or go to it on your computer.

and on my phone if i launch chrome and go to its settings i can see under recent tabs, what tabs i had opened recently. so yes tabs are backed up in data as well.

I have an Android project for a library (using the com.android.library plugin), that includes C++ code. When I run the assemble task in gradle, the outputted AAR contains the native library in the /jni folder. However, there is no "prefab" folder. On the documentation page for libraries, the bottom section suggests that the /prefab folder should be there.

I can find information on how to set up a project to import prefabs from an AAR, but I can't find any information on how to build an AAR with prefab exports. Is there a way to set up an Android project with gradle to do this? Are there settings I have to add to specify which native libraries should be exposed?

I'm using Android Studio 4.1.1, gradle 6.8, and Android gradle plugin 4.1.1.

Yes, there is plenty of space on the phone for the install and I have tried clearing the theme store cache, but it didn't make any difference.

definitely get a pixel phone because to get calyx os you will need to root the phone and pixles are pretty easy to root. i believe the calyx website should have all the info on how to root it and install the custom rom.
