Lately, while on a ongoing call, a new call will come in and drop the ongoing call. This is getting me mad because I've not changed any settings ever... And the calls that are interrupting are all spam callers.

I was deleting everything big enough to be listed in MB rather than KB - my phone got too crowded to update anything! I see that there's only a weekful of these backups, but it would be great to be able to choose how many. I'd set it to two or three at most.

I did go to look at the browser's cache, then remembered I'd already deleted everything's cache about half an hour before...!!

Thanks anyway, I thought that's what I was looking at but glad of the reassurance.

My wife is getting countless political texts. Is there an app that would block all texts other than those in her contact list? I don't have that problem and don't know why.

A launcher is the app that you interact with the device with.

It is the app that controls what you see on the homescreen.

Simply open whatever appstore you choose, and search for 'launcher'.

Hi can anyone offer advice pls
I have a s20 ultra that is displaying ghost icons from my home screen

Ive had the phone for 5 months
Ive had dialogue with samsung and they arranged for a mobile engineer to come to my adress and replace the screen
On arrival i got the impression he was looking for a way out of repairing it siting miniscule marks on the edges of the frame (phone has been in a case with a screen protector since new)
He took the phone to his van but returned saying there was a crack on the screen so he couldnt do anything as the 2mm ,what i thought was a scratch, was a crack and the phones warranty was invalid because of it
So the tiny damage on the screen which has nothing whatsoever to do with the original screen burn issue has invalidated my warranty on a £1400 flagship phone
Im absolutely gutted and wondered if anyone has experienced similar?

how long are you holding the button combo's? i see conflicting info where one says hold power+vol up and another says power+vol down. try them both and hold them for a few minutes until you see the screen change.

I gave it another go after reading good things about Lineage 14.1 (Android 7). Flashed it OK, flashed Gapps OK, installed Magisk, installed Magisk Manager, installed the banking app - failure. It spotted the non-standard ROM. It surprises me that custom ROMs appear to be so popular given how difficult it is to use normal apps on them. A new phone for me, definitely. OK, that helps . I was taking the screen too literally when it says "Recently sent" and I think it really means "recently received" from the phone user's viewpoint. I'll home in the culprit before long. Thank you.
