Flashing a phone is mostly a labor intensive task, so that $100 fee is for labor, not the value of the update nor your phone. Whatever warranty that applies to this phone being a recent purchase is a debatable issue. If WiFi Calling is a stated or implied feature than you may or may not have some leverage to force Best Buy to cover part or all of the costs. Look through the Best Buy documentation if it actually refers to WiFi Calling as being an integral part of the phone you bought from them. If yes you can try threatening a lawsuit, if no, they have the upper hand.
Just note that it's not a hardware matter so Samsung isn't directly responsible. It's a software matter, tied to directly to the carrier but since you didn't actually purchase this phone from AT&T, it isn't liable either.
Either way, paying $100 might be your only option at this point. Hiring a lawyer to go up against either or all three of these big corporations (Samsung, AT&T, and Best Buy) will involve a lot more money given all three have seriously massive legal departments. Plus, consumer protection laws here in America are tilted towards corporate interests.

If third-party WiFi Calling options like Google Voice aren't an option for you. you initially referred to having an AT&T extender. Have you tried resetting it and making sure it's implemented in an optimal way? Those cellular extender units often require a good connection to your router (check the Ethernet cable running between the two) and just as importantly, physically locating the extender (or its external antenna if it has one) next to an outward facing window so it can receive a stable GPS signal.

By default when you press and hold the side button on your Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus it will launch Bixby. You'll probably want to change the Bixby button to launch something else or disable Bixby completely. Don't worry- you can:

• Settings > Advanced Features > Side Key
• Find the "Press and Hold" area
• Select "Power Off Menu" instead of "Wake Bixby (default)"

When you press and hold the side button you'll now be given power off and restart options for your Galaxy Z Flip. You cannot force the phone to launch an app by pressing and holding, but if you quickly press the side button twice you can have the Galaxy S20 Plus open any app you'd like.

(This works for any of the new generation of Galaxy phones)

If your like me you have accidentally launch Samsung Pay several times. At first I could not figure out how I was even doing it.
(As seen in the video, I use the Pixel-esq no navigation buttons setup, where I swipe up for apps, swipe up and pause for recent programs, and swipe from left or right to 'go back'. I love this setup and can't imagine going back.)
Now, after launching Samsung pay on accident several times, I finally noticed a 'quick launch' bar/window on the bottom of screen. Then I hunted for how to disable. Hopefully this helps you as well!

Samsung link below, but: Open Samsung Pay>Top left 3 line menu>Settings>Use Favorite Cards>Toggle off Home Screen (or all of them like me)
This only disables the quick launch, app will still work.

Auto-correct is a function of the keyboard app, though if it's smart enough to check system settings then find "languages and input" there and set your preference accordingly (mine is "English (United Kingdom)"). There's also (on my Android 10 phone) a "spell checker" setting in there, which I also set to UK English (though I suspect that's really a setting for the built-in keyboard, which I don't use).

As for setting ISO time format, I can't find anything on mine. Mind you I'm using a Pixel, and Google actually are not good at offering options and customisation - they take a "we know what you want" attitude (I sometimes think they really want to be Apple...).

No doubt galaxy bud is a fantastic selection. Somehow I lost my left buds, and I own Tozo t10. Vry nice.

Can you expand on that a little? For example, which phones you had, which Android versions you were using, how you typically use your phone--like taking a lot of photos, or downloading large images, and so on. That might help us sort things out.

Personally, in my decade of using Android, I've never seen what you're describing. Like Hadron, I typically use my devices for 3+ years--right now, in addition to my daily-driver, a Moto Z² Force Edition, I also use my 5-year-old Moto X 2nd Generation and my 7-year-old Kindle Fire HD 8.9" [which I turned into a true Android tablet by rooting it]. Neither has ever been, or needed to be, factory reset due to sluggishness. So your experience is not at all like mine!

By the way, even if you were an iPhone user, you'd still be welcome here.

(I kind of like my idea, of the cell phone being round.)

Keep in mind that for really popular models there's no need for more but if you have a lessor known model or one that they don't have access to but there's a demand, donating can help expand their database of service guides. Those apps Steven linked are probably best option. Best built in function is probably pinning flashlight to quick launch side menu, which should be turned on my default.

Are zombies really political though. They just kind of happen?

Some further info as follows...
I looked at the "my files" route, but found this convoluted and a little confusing (dont forget I'm a novice) but thanks for the suggestion.
From a google search came the following 'fix' - that gelled with the functions on my wife's S5.
Find and tap settings> Apps
Tap the app that you want to move to the SD card
On the next screen shot - this contains the word storage - tap on this
If the app supports changing where it is stored - a change button appears - hit this button
Tap SD card > then move
Transfer will then take place.
So in fact the ability to transfer is still within the Samsung set up - just a different route to get there!

In regard to es file explorer - my wife has found a third party app that apparently suits her needs. I will however look to Aptoide (My thanks to Xavier Black for this suggestion)

Have to agree here. Even offering 64gb on the regular 4 is a travesty. NO WAY that should be an option on a "flagship". On for the budget line, better have an option with more storage.
