Yes, it is. Google is putting a lot of it's AI processing in the apps, so the new the version the better it should work (mostly). I'd pick that over any others.

Thanks for all the suggestions. It will take some time to learn what the best of these options may be. Hopefully this post will be resourceful to others in the future.

Turns out uf you open that app (The icon in Settings on my LG G7 ThinQ says Emergency Alerts but when you tap on it it says Wireless Emergency Alerts on the title bar) you can just hold down on the Alert and choose Delete.

My fake card was a "Samsung" branded card and when I posted about my problems of files just disappearing someone suggest I check the packaging. The real Samsung uses a holographic stamp that changes colors when you move it around. My "Samsung" card from eBay was just grey. The seller used a copier to duplicate Samsung's packaging. Holographic stamps never show all the colors when copied.

Do a factory reset. Backup everything first
