Google is banned in China. I've made many posts over the years on AF, about how to install and use Google on Chinese phones and tablets. So I'm guessing the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology(MIIS) in Beijing took a look at the posts and threads on Android Forums, and they didn't like what they saw. The MIIS is an organ of the CCP that censors the internet in China.

Really the only way around it is to appear from an IP address that's assigned to a real end-user ISP or carrier. VPN servers and most TOR nodes reside on servers in data centres. Unfortunaretly CloudFlare assumes IP addresses originating in data centres, are doing bad things on the internet, like DDoS attacks, spammers, and bots. And so CloudFlare websites, might show CAPTCHAS or just ban those IP addresses from viewing their contents.

This is CloudFlare's own description of what they do:-

Secure your websites, APIs, and Internet applications.

When the device is connected to USB, it still shows usbCharge = false, while at that time acCharge is shown as true.
Moreover, while assigning the value of chargePlug here, it is either assigning 0 or 1, no other value. Why is it so?

what phone do you have? where did you buy the phone? i usually buy my phones from Best Buy. if it was just purchased, they would have just replaced it with a new one. if you use Geek Squad protection than you might get a refurbished phone.

I forgot to mention, when I say "Hey Google", if I have both my phone and galaxy tab s5e open at he same time, my tablet is the only one to respond.

I would like that to be reversed, making the phone the default.

So some app can be downloaded for free from the Google app store? That's not news; that describes millions of apps! I'm guessing this is your app? Tell us about your app, and what it does, and why you made it.

Don't listen to your PR department! PR departments don't want to say anything real. They think that pretty pictures and flowery language are better than telling people about the product they're selling. But you're not a PR department, you're a developer. You developed this app, and you developed it for a reason. It deserves better than a mere pretty picture.

I Have this EXACT same problem man. I've gone through and completely tried every possible setting, reinstall, repairing, and making sure the onedrive account is correct and logged on. Still, it shows the same old email address that's not even connected to anything and I can't change this in Gallery. I'm at my wits end

There could be a slight difference between your local contact info and your saved google contact info causing two almost identical contacts.

If there's nothing already set in there it's probably not the cause. I don't know whether it can be used as a workaround though (as I've never used it).

just look in the notification pull down to see what it is.......oh wait.....this is not your phone. you can just ask the person, but i guess that is not an easy thing to do.

just so you know, we get this question every day. and 9 times out of 10 the question never gets fully answered. the problem is that there are thousand of apps that uses a heart icon as its notification icon. and yes there are some dating apps that use it. but majority of the ones i have seen are for health and well being AND NOT DATING APPS. so unless it is something like youtube or facebook, majority of these questions goes unanswered.

Actually no, but having signed in with them I found the answer on their forum (see above).

Thanks for not only explaining the problem, but what you did to solve it! That will help other users who search the forums for help with that particular issue.

There are other AOSP ROMs apart from Lineage, but that's just a quibble, because if there is no ROM development for your phone it doesn't matter what development there is for other phones as that won't help you .

As others have said, the Android version number doesn't matter: if you have no updates available from the manufacturer and there is no development and no root for your phone then there is no upgrade option whatsoever.

But you certainly can buy a phone for less than a PC: it's perfectly possible to find budget phones from reputable manufacturers new from ~€/£/$130 or so, without any network subsidy, and there's no way you can buy a new PC for that price (or if you can I don't think I'd want to take the risk of plugging it in!).

However since this is an old CDMA handset it's possible that you can only use handsets which your provider approves (some of your providers in the States are weirdly controlling). So I can't offer any specific advice because I don't know what handsets are available to you. But if you can't buy a phone that isn't significantly cheaper than a PC you are with the wrong provider.
