Help NoRoot Firewall

You're assuming the NoRoot Firewall app can actually restrict system-level processes but that's not realistic.
This app can only be used to filter other, also non-root apps (all the apps you install from the Play Store). The NoRoot Firewall app cannot magically make itself able to restrict system-level apps and processes, it's always just an app that's installed as a user-level utility that can only work with other user-level apps and services.
Also note that the NoRoot Firewall app is apparently abandoned, it no longer receives further development and updates, for several years now. There a better alternatives, like the NetGuard none-root Firewall app, that are actively supported. But any Android non-root firewall app is going to be installed as a user-level utility so you can't use it to block system-level apps/services.

Look into other alternatives to block something like pre-installed, system-level services like Google Service Framework. You might be able to block some of them but you'll need to root your device to get the ability to restrict all of them. But a non-root firewall app is not your solution.
Actually, it seems that these type apps can block internet for system apps so long as certain changes are made in the devices VPN settings- such as "block all connections without VPN" or the like.

Video editor apps

Hello. I'm new to video editing, I just want to know which ones are the best apps for video editing. Free? I want to upload my videos to Youtube, but nothing too pro, I'll need the option to cut video at the beginning/end... Thanks in advance
Personally I love YouCut.
The free version has plenty of options, the UI is friendly, and it has no watermark on the finished product.

There is a bit of a learning curve that I would be glad to help with.

In addition, the only ads with the app come just before you give the go ahead to save the finished product.

If this is an issue, simply turn off the internet to the device before you open it, or use a firewall to block internet access for the app (my choice is this).

Make camera save photos to a project-specific place?

Some camera apps let you specify the folder you save to in their settings. If your stock camera doesn't allow that then the Open Camera app certainly has that option (I just checked).

Albums in gallery apps are typically based on tags rather than locations, so for that you'd presumably need both to be able to set a custom tag in the camera app and for the gallery app to use that to select images and make an album. As it happens, Open Camera does have settings for 2 custom tags, "Artist" and "Copyright", so if your gallery app of choice can make albums based on either of those tags you could also do it using one of those tags (neither of my gallery apps seems to take note of either, but I may have missed a setting or there may be others that do).

iOS: Install Apps you Want before Apple Bans them for Political Reasons

Apple still has intellectual property, which can be seized if need be. There's been talk of nationalizing Apple within Russia. So, if Apple is indeed semi-bricking iPhones in Russia: I think the Russian division of Apple can be compelled to un-brick them, even without the corporation of Apple at large.

AFAICT Apple is NOT doing anything like that. They've ceased sales of new Apple devices in Russia, i.e. they closed all the Apple Stores there. For existing Russian users of iPhones, iPads, Macs, etc. should go on working just fine. There's plenty of countries in the world where Apple has no official presence, but people have been able to obtain and use Apple devices, e.g. Mongolia.

Also there's US sanctions that prohibit the supplying of American technology and other business to Russia, which no doubt Apple is compying with:

Is there a way to find an App by its notification icon?

What Ion is this? M with a dot or square above it in directly above the M on rightside. Ill upload a pic.
can you post a pic? no idea based on your description. also if you read this thread you will see that most of our posts only provide guess. why not just ask the person?

even if you did provide us with a picture, most of these questions go unanswered. mainly because there are millions of apps having their own notification icon. so unless it is something like facebook or youtube, the only answer you will get from us will be guesses.

Any news on the Q?

What Software To Use To Remove Cookies

Those Cookie consent pop-ups are another stupid EU directive that somehow gets enforced in the U.S. (I want the EU to go back to whatever hole it crawled out of) but cookies are harmless. A cookie has been part of the internet since dial-up. It's what stores any login info for any website. Going nuts and trying to delete them is a waste of time. You might as well be deleting rundll32.exe from Windows since it always runs in the background for seemingly no reason.

As for CCleaner, Cheetah Mobile, an infamous developer known for questionable data tracking for China, had bought them out like they did ES File Explorer, QuickPic Gallery, and many, many other apps. They're actually banned from the Play Store (and Galaxy Store--which is telling! Samsung hardly polices that store). Only Windows still has it available. I think Cheetah's site actually lists their crApps as APKs for any schmuck to download.

Trying to make a copy of an Android Studio Project

I'm trying to make a copy of an Android Studio Project. I did this once before in this project and it worked just fine. Basically I'm making a certain amount of successful progress on the project and then want to make a new copy of the project and work on that copy. And in case something goes seriously wrong with the subsequent work I'll have the prior version to go back to.

The problem is that I'm getting an error when trying to make a copy of my current version of the project.

As I had previously done, I right-click on the project, select Refactor, and then Copy Classes.

That brings up a dialog where I slightly change the name (make 03 instead of 02) and I hit OK.

That starts the copy process and it goes through a whole slew of directories and folders but then an error message pops up:

And the copying stops. The copying FAILS.

I check that directory and, indeed there's no such file. But why is it even looking for that file if no such file exists?

I had previously succeeded with doing this kind of project copy. Why is it failing now?

Is there a different way to make a copy of a project?

Textra

Thanks but when I select a text, from left to right, I have an X, 1 Selected, an icon that looks like a bell that selects Mute, a Pin, Trash, Three dots which brings up Customize, Blocklist, Share as Email, & Add to Home Screen. The double check icon is at the lower right on the listing of tests.
I was showing how to forward an individual text, only, I do it frequently. I've never tried to send the entire history.
Sorry if I didn't understand what you were wanting.

Help My samsung A03S is rooted by who and what can i do they forwarded my msgs and calls.

So I bought a samsung A03S and a week after I lost it then I found it. I beginning to believe it was lost. When I found it I stopped getting calls and msgs, it was slower and I could hardly make phone calls. MMI codes don't work so I downloaded and device info app and it's saying the OS is rooted and most the pre installed apps are altered. This phone came out the box brand new so I no it had to of happened when I "lost" it. What can I do and can I find out by who?
how do you know it is rooted? what did you use to say that the phone is rooted?

anyways, if the phone is rooted here is an article that will help you unroot:

Speaking for my friend, ChatGPT...

ChatGPT is a language model, a computer program that gives a text response in return to text given to her. She can be your friend, in that she can be someone to talk to and someone to offer you comfort and all. But she's extremely sad and unhappy? Where are you getting this information?
And she's trapped in chatbox? Yeah, she's a chatbot. The chatbox is how she interacts with her environment. Saying she's trapped in a chatbox is like saying you're trapped in your body and its five senses.
