Well it might be better if you looked at CSC and PDA as specific identifiers for developers to keep track of each build they create. You don't need to keep fixating on that as it's for the most part irrelevant for what you need to do (flash the appropriate ROM to get your phone working again.), It's not unlike if you're buying a set of spark plugs for your car, pay attention to getting the appropriate ones that are made for your car's engine, don't worry about the bar codes on the packaging.

Yes, you're going to encounter hundreds of ver. 9 ROMs, but just to stress this point again, NO, only a handful of them are going to work with your model. Smartphones are generally similar in outer appearance but every different phone model has its own, unique hardware configuration on the inside. ROMs consist of software, drivers, firmware, etc. to correspond with only that hardware configuration. So again, no, you cannot use them all.

I agree with you, sometimes we can get hyper focused on making our way work, instead of stepping back and trying to see the trees in the forest. if I were you, investing in a good mirrorless camera (Sony A9/ A77) and a good mic, would yield you sooo much happiness. you can concentrate on the shot and not worry about if the phone will stop recording, if it will hiccup, etc. there are many ways to approach your setup!

getting your own channel and sharing knowledge! it sooo easy today to do that. seems like your family may have something there...

flying a drone here in LA is almost impossible. everywhere its in controlled airspace and currently it takes up to 90 days to get a waiver to shoot in that airspace. other cities are not as locked down, but here where every pet and adult owns some type of drone, the market is just over saturated. it's fun, but knowing the rules and things you need for a successful flight can be a but daunting for some...

If you're asking about playing over the air local radio stations, not all phones support this feature. Only the ones that have the radio antenna enabled.

I know motorola phones have this feature, but you did not say what phone you have. Telling us the model number would help.

As MoodyBlues mentioned, you need to be clear with what you need help with so that we don't guess as I did above.

If I was to reset my Galaxy Tab S4 and no log into ,y Gmail/Google Account and use F-Droid would that help? GAPPs will still be installed though.

Wiki has a nice list of open source games that you can reuse, modify, and commercially redistribute. They're a mix of games from all platforms, so you'll have to figure out which are for linux.

Thanks to both of you. I could not find the Samsung charger on their web site because the search feature wasn't intelligent enough to recognize "Car Charger". I had to do chat support and they sent me the link...a "Vehicle Charger". They say its compatible and it was half price at $20 bucks and comes with a cable, so its a good bet and good value.

This is what made me go back to Samsung and ask them about it. Now, it will be interesting to see if the one I bought from them will actually fast charge

I hold email addresses for a club on a Google sheet. The addresses are used to send out newsletters via Gmail. I normally do this using my Windows desktop or laptop with no problem. However I have just tried using an Android tablet (Samsung and Huawei) and my Motorola phone, and although I can copy the addresses, they will not past into the Gmail address box. This seems very strange given its a total Google environment, given it works on Windows 10. Can anyone suggest how I might get it to work please?

Do you have Accidental Touch Protection turned on ? It disables the touch screen in dark areas like your pocket. I use it and have never pocket dialed. It is found under settings>display.

just remove .img from your recovery.img file, that's all.
