Hi all. I hope someone can help me. I have a problem that the information dialogue bubble (not sure of its real name) shows up on my screen as white text on a white background. I can't find where the settings are to correct it and can't find info from searching the web. The attached picture shows what i mean.... Basically i never know what any of those dialogue boxes ever say. Thanks in advance.

Is there something that way, especially if it's already built in, that would make it possible to switch a phone on just by shaking it? These side keys don't always work that well. I checked that assistant menu on the Samsung A02s but couldn't find any such thing.

Does anyone know if the Motorola Edge (2022) is compatible with Mint Mobile's Wifi Calling? For example, the Edge 2021 is but the Edge+ 2022 is not.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S21 5G running the latest available software version (Android 13 + One UI 5.0) in my country, Portugal.

Recently, assume since last update, something strange happens 2 or 3 times a day. Even while in locked mode and not being used it says the message ”Sorry but I did not understand”. The message its in Portuguese and the sound is high even if the phone its muted.

It can happen during the night.

I’ve tried do turn off the google assistant but the problem persists. Any suggestion on how to solve that?

I have some music files that I've deleted from device and then from device trash that keep returning. I see them again every time I clean out the system. Suggestions please.

whenever i receive a call on my S10e i keep getting this annoying thing on my screen and i have to swipe it off my screen. then after my call i get this screen that looks like some kind of an assistant which has create note and create checklist. See attachment

how do i turn this off?

Had a bunch of repeat calendar alarms e.g. pick up kids from school and I deleted them as no longer used. But they're still popping up every day and it's causing real issues as have to turn them off all day.











I set then in calendar to repeat every day. I then deleted them. Not from the first/root day.

does anyone else's date keep disappearing off the home screen on a Samsung Galaxy 22 plus?

i have now android 13 on my tablet and smartphone. on my tablet i have this notification, see my screenshot.
this is about a background. this notification is not an app like mp3 player which i can also see in the background.
this notification says about searching for a browser. i use one . when i disable this notification, it does not come back
but it always appears when open my tablet. i don't have this situation on my tel. i did not have this notification on android 12 .
how can i remove this notification or how can i install that this notification does not appear?

I am not a developer or software expert and I have zero experience with android apps beyond loading them on my phone. I now have an project that requires an Android emulator that runs on a Windows 10 machine, so I thought I'd ask some experts. For some background; I am an avid off-roader with my 4x4 and the best mapping software for off-roading are typically meant to run on an Android machine because the majority of Android devices have GPS. I (looking for a larger display) have mounted a Panasonic Toughbook CF-31 running Windows 10 in my 4x4 with a Havis mount. I am looking for a stand alone emulator that will work flawlessly with my Toughbook to run some off-road mapping software like All-Trails, Gaia Maps or OnX Off-road, all of which are android apps that allow offline navigation with downloaded maps. All of the Windows nav software is piss poor compared to the Android apps when navigating off-road. OnX Off-road is probably the best, showing back roads and trails, color coding them to show vehicle type required. i.e. 2 wheel drive, all wheel drive SUV, high ground clearance 4x4, side by side or via foot. My Toughbook has full time GPS and internet via a cell data SIMM, but many places I go are out of cell range.
The best solution I can come up with is to run my mapping app on an emulator, but which one is best for my application? I'm looking for a recommendation for an emulator that will use all the necessary sensors in my machine and run mapping software off-line while out of cell range. Most Android emulators appear to be for development purposes or for gaming but I need one that can run my nav apps flawlessly. and reasonably fast.

When I speak, I occasionally pause. That doesn't mean I've finished my sentence - merely that I'm thinking.
When I say "comma", I DON'T want a period inserted after it!

My phone sends random texts to itself, this can cost me my months credit if the text sends in between me topping up and the company taking my payment, (I pay 20euro every month and get all calls and all data but no texts) is this a scam and is there a way to stop this happening in settings?

My mother's cell number (if not already saved in my contacts) shows up as 'suspected scam' if she calls any of my Android phones. If I have her number saved as a contact or synced with Google, this doesn't happen. Her number she's had for over a decade and on an iPhone.

She's having issues with friends of hers ignoring her calls for the same reason. What makes a phone suspect that a call is a scam? She does not do scams, and for some reason her number got added to some list or maybe some phones just false-positive out? It's new to me. I only noticed it when my ZTE Cymbal showed her number as 'suspected scam' before I added her as a contact. My Galaxy SII and HTC Thunderbolt either didn't do that stuff or didn't support it.

I cannot remember where, but if I am right there have been at some time or another questions about how to copy SMS (text messages).

Whether it is for copying or transfering to another device, I have found that Simple Messages (a Simple Mobile Tools app) allows for texts to be copied.

Just thought I would throw this out there, and hopefully sombody that needs the info can use it.

Make me wonder throughout a few times onside of the windows explorer, and my thumbnails keep popping up, so I am just wondering about your explorer you have on your androids... I want to see if there is a better one out there in the market.

This isn't exactly a development question, but I couldn't find a more appropriate forum.

Somehow, in my setup of my Galaxy Tab A, I ended up with two sections to the main display: Personal and Work. I don't need this separation, and I find it inconvenient. Can someone please tell me how I can remove this feature?
