My service provider is a Spanish Jetnet. My phone Blackview A80. Android 9

Since receiving a new updated sim card from Jetnet, my apps are unable to access the internet when out of wifi range.

I have checked all my settings to enable it and talked with Jetnet. Jetnet advised resetting the APN details, which I did even though they were already correct.

I am at a loss. Any suggestions please?

p.s. my data usage on the phone is shown as almost zero!

Its not a game as i searched that.

Occasionally my shortcuts vanish from the homescreen. It seems this may occur after a reboot but not sure. Note well that these are shortcuts *only* and not apps- the apps remain in place. Lately I have been bookmarking sites I visit (I use Chrome) as a precaution but it is still annoying to see the shortcuts vanish.

I am trying to help my brother download an app he needs for work. It's called Motive (formerly KeepTruckin) and I found it and installed it, no problem, on my Pixel3 running Android 12. However, my brother's phone is a much older Sony Experia and when I try to find the same app in Playstore, it can't find Motive.

Is it possible that Playstore knows that my brother's phone has a level of Android below the minimum level that Motive needs and that's why it's not showing him the app?

To put it another way, does Playstore show every app it has regardless of the phone's level of Android or does it only show apps that could actually run on the phone because the phone meets the minimum level of Android needed to run the app?

I'm trying to figure out if this is going to force my brother to upgrade his phone or if there's some special trick he needs to use to find Motive and install it on his phone.

With iPhone, there is iTunes which can pretty much do everything you need, i.e. sync, data transfer, load music files, etc., to do with your phone. Is there an Android equivalent for iTunes? I'm using a Samsung Fold 4 if that makes a difference.

Would anyone be willing to use or install and use Dolphin browser to see how a website displays? I am having some issues with the website banner (top of the page) not displaying some of the graphics. This is only on my Z Fold 3. On my Note 8, the website displays properly with Dolphin browser, and I can't explain it. I hope I don't have to do a return on this device. Right now, I can't upload a screenshot.

Thanks for any help. I am really under the gun time-wise to figure out if I am having problems. If someone else gets the same broken/non-displaying graphics on Dolphin, I might consider it just an unfortunate glitch and nothing more.

Have had this LG phone for a couple of years and used to plug it into the USB port on my Win 10 laptop, opened File Explorer, clicked on the phone and downloaded the photos to the PC. A couple of days ago when I tried to go this the LG phone shows in File Explorer but when I click on it the right column says "This file is empty". ??? I've tried a couple different USB cables and also tried a different USB port... still the same problem. Everything it up to date and it used to work. Anyone know what's wrong???

So I recently purchased the Z Fold 4 and have been using an iPhone XS Max. I was wondering what's the best way to import/export/transfer the passwords/logins from my iPhone to my new Fold? Getting real tired of manually entering in 16 character passwords from Chrome to the apps in my phone. There has to be an easier way? Also, Is the Samsung Pass worth using? Kind of hesitant to have another app access to my login info and then have it also accessible by Chrome.

Not after money, just expense, I have built 100's of apps for myself over the years and its getting easier and quicker, but it's not the same as building apps for somebody else, I can also upload it to the play store or send you the apk file.

I live near London and would love to get a job as a android developer but I am dyslexia and I am 42 years old but a strong portfolio would really help and I think this would be my only chance, intergrating github in the project would be easy if you want to see my code.

So, I was looking through my BFs phone looking for a password I saved under one of his accounts and saw where his phone is listed 3x on his Google account but only says (this device) beside one. And then I remembered that even his FB has 3 listed on his device logins with the same name - g920a.

I take photos of plants in Google Lens, asking it to identify the plant species. Sometimes I want to save the photo but there is no function in Google Lens to save a photo. Google search tells me that Google Lens can import to Google Keep. I have both Lens and Keep installed but I see no buttons in Lens to save to Keep or "Import to Keep". How do I save the Google Lens photo?

so i have a oukitel wp15, i suspect there was an update yesterday that i installed but forgot what it was called.

anyway, for example i use the doorbell camera app called "ring" so i can see whos on my front door. id open the app, let it run in the background if im using the other app or whenevr i switch my phone off so i will recieve notifications.

now whenever i unlock my phone, the system manager is closing these apps that i have open like ring, muzz and snapchat so i wont receive notifications.

is anyone else facing the same issue? can someone recommend fix for me please? dont know what to do, cheers

Sometime back I had an issue with trying to lock my bookmarks to where they only opened onto a specific folder. It seemed to be set using the flags setting "Improved bookmarks save flow" and setting it to disabled.
All was fine until about a week ago when every time I open my bookmarks it opens to the parent folder.

Anyone have a new/current solution?

My friend made the stupid mistake of looking at porn online and now his phone is just blowing up with the crap, and of course the fake virus alerts. I think it might be from Chrome. There is a new message or five or however many about every minute. I've tried removing them for him but they just keep returning. Those pictures sure aren't family friendly. my blue tooth hearing aids were working with just the mutlimedia program, shows me both are fully charge, but when I do connect with them they get booted away from my moto edge plus cell... So question is how come this is overlasping when I did not download anything third party?

An app corrupted my LineageOS 18.1 OnePlus 7 Pro for some reason, which means I need to factory reset it. However, before doing so I wish to save my data, and have been unsuccessful so far. I have been looking into transferring via the ADB pull command, but with no success, only getting errors and 0 files transferred.

ADB debugging is enabled and I'm out of ideas. I just want my photos and files...

Around a year ago I've left my gmail account, now i realised I can't log into my old tiktok account without my email since I've changed the password and changed phone numbers too.

I know my email, old password and old phone number. But I can't verify my number to get into my Gmail account. My old phone is broken and google barely has any service. So i came to the conclusion that using my old sim card might delete the phone number verification since maybe my sim card will be recognised.

I have 0 understanding of phones so is this going to do anything?

1. How does Google account work, if I have google account does it mean that every Google app in the phone is using the same Google account? e.g. Google Photos, Drive, Playstore...

2. If I do not have Google account can I use any gmail to login Playstore so I can download from Playstore? Can I use the gmail to login playstore, download app, then logout of playstore, without adding the gmail to become google account?

3. If I have Google account e.g john @ gmail.com, can I use another different gmail e.g. johnnyrobinson @ gmail.com to login Playstore?

4. If I do not have Google Photos app, I have Google account, does Google account backup contains all photos and videos? Does Google account and Google Photos backup exact same images and videos?

5. If I have a new phone, what is the difference of restore backup from Google account vs Samsung account vs restore backup by using Samsung smart switch transfer from old phone.

6. Is there something like Playstore that do not require any login?

7. How to get playstore into a phone that does not have playstore or if I wish to reinstall playstore?
