All, I'm looking for a better way to track some health metrics that skips manual entry and has some features that I would like.

I'd like a blue tooth scale.
I'd like to track bike rides. Prefer to have Heart rate displayed. Currently I'm low talent rider, so I don't really need any of the fancy stuff the computes and displays power output ... I'm an aging guy who has renewed interest in improving my health (funny how cardiac bypass surgery can refocus your life!) Just so you know, I have a goal to bike 50 mile trips ... so not a casual ride but definitely not a world class biker here!

Currently mount my cell (S20FE) on my handlebars and I use the MapMyRide (by UnderArmor) ... haven't figured out a way to display heartrate on my phone. I do have a fitbit.
I'd like to track my sleep
Currently use a Fitbit Charge4
I'd like to track steps
Again, use the Fitbit Charge4
Bonus ... I'd like to track my BP ... I have a omron monitor

I'm really looking for complete Bluetooth connectivity and components that will talk with each other. I was shocked and surprised that I couldn't get my fitbit heart rate to display on MapMyRide years ago. So I just started tracking each piece separately. As another example, I track my weight by taking photos of my digital scale as part of my 'Solution' .... this has to stop! ha.

I'm hoping that things have progressed. But I get overwhelmed when there aren't coordinated solutions available.

I suspect that the hardest part of the puzzle will be the health app? This will be the cornerstone.

Certainly I'd love to use existing components, but am not against upgrades if they lead me to where I want to be. I think the lone exception would be any suggestion that I need to move to an iPhone based solution? I guess if it were the only way I'd consider it.

My phone recently updated to Android 12 which appears to have introduced a strange bug. I have multiple group texts with family and friends. On some of the text messages some people's phone numbers are being corrupted by adding +52 and making them 'untextable'. In my address book the number shows ok but when I try to text them it adds the '+52' and the text is rejected. The only way I've been able to fix this is by deleting the threads I've had for years (dumb fix). Not sure if this is an Android or iPhone issue.

Well, I got a new sd for the Stylus, which has been mostly behaving. At least it charges just fine, unlike another phone I could mention (Samsung Galaxy A02s). I have been advised that before I use it I should format it 2 or 3 times. I guess as long as it's brand new that shouldn't destroy any information that is presumably not on it. Should I format it with the Stylus? After that, will it be safe to use the nonVanja to copy from another SD? If I do that, which should be in the phone itself and which in the other device? Is there a way to copy only part at a time, maybe photos or videos, for instance, and then the rest later?

1. When I make a call on speaker phone and hold it in front of my mouth, after a few seconds the screen will black out. How do I prevent this?

2. Also, when I make a call in front of my computer, many times my calls will drop. If I make a call from the living room, no dropped calls. Could Wi-fi signals interfere with cell phone signals and cause calls to drop? On the other hand, I have noticed that when the other person can't hear me, this seems to occur right after the screen blacks out. What is could be causing the dropped calls? This happens quite frequently.

I have a Moto e5. I'm trying to backup the files I have on my phone's external micro sdcard. On my phone all of the folders and files can be accessed without a problem. When I connect my phone to my Windows laptop via hub and try to access my folders and files, some of the folders look white in color and show "O" k in file size. Why is that happening?

There's something i want to understand.

My case happend today. I logged in at my Gmail account. And I was suprised that someone added my old gmail accounts email adress as contact and reboot adress to my current gmail account.. the thing is i havent used that account for several months because i ****ed up when i changed my password for that acount after i suspected that someone was getting Access without my permission to that account. Stange things happend at that period. So i was quiet sure i get hacked by someone but withput to know whats right to do at that time i couldnt get a sabe solution to handle that problem. So i decided to set up everything new i needed, take care, get save passwords etc.. on and on.

Now im suprised i get everyghing new. Mobile phone ezc. So i had in fact no digital connection with anything i had used so far.

I wrote that post because there are some strange activitys i dont understand.

Please advise. Samsung GT-S7392, keep hanging, and SIM card detection takes very...very long, it is irresponsive, modern apps seem too heavy for it. Is there a store or light versions of Google play store, Google play services ,Whatapp, Tic tok etc small in mbs (size) that can make the phone fast and responsive like latest smart phone, What are the permanent solutions to stop this chronic freezing/unresponsiveness?

Trying to Rooting it on windows 10 pc is not working, it seems rejecting updated samsung drivers..drivers issue even samsung kies not working trying to update its firmware.

New Samsung Tab S7 tablet, the second one in two weeks and both have the same issues. Probably 5 or 6 times in the last 30 mins the on-screen buttons for home etc simply freeze, when this happens the pull down to view notifications also stops responding.

The only solution is to either wait 1 minute or power the screen off for 30 seconds. Most of the time the second solution leaves me at the locked screen with the keypad buttons not responding.

I have very little installed that could be considered out the ordinary.

It's the latest version of Android 12.

I will have to send this one back in the next few days if I cannot find a fix. Any ideas?

I just got this device. The only website I can access is Yahoo, and I can't use my Hotmail email. Wify connects but I cannot access the web. It says it has the latest firmware update that was put out years ago. Everything else on the phone works, just not internet capabilities. I get server error messages when I try to connect.

So I have not got a chance to customize it via sliding up from the main app what so ever in ages, so I hopped over to themes, and the bubbles around wifi, mobile data et all still blue, I want to change it completely.. Whenver I try to customize it, my screen goes blank and all I can see is the check mark, and I ususally do this about every day, so I can get a fresh feel towards it. I know it sounds like a massive glitch.

I am new here on this forum. I have a Doogee X10 android 6 phone. I tried to flash it with SPFlash tools but I think I flashed it with wrong firmware. When I tried to switch it on it showed me only dim light nothing else. Later I downloaded the correct firmware and flash it again. Now when the phone boots, calibraton of buttons changed. Also buttons on the bottom of screen i.e. Home, Back (I dont know what is the third button calls) are not working. If I click on something, it clicks somewhere else. If dialpad opens up and I click on Home button it actually clicks on 5 on dialpad. It looks like calibraton data has been lost. Please help me what to do. I tried flashing 2,3 times with correct rom but same result. Any idea ???????

I have been using snapchat to share pics/vids of my kids with my family for years. The reason isn't for privacy but because of how convenient it is that:

1. It immediately opens to a camera that makes it easy to take a picture or video
2. Afterwards it is EXTREMELY easy to choose my family or friends or whoever else to send it to
3. The file size isn't upsurd for videos.

Here are the issues that are very inconvenient:

1. Family can't always save videos
2. There is no location data saved so it's harder to organize
3. In fact, even the file names are inconvenient
4. Snapchat doesn't use the camera app for android but just records the screen. So resolution is mostly garbage.... I know file size would be bigger if it wasn't, but I would take that.

As you can imagine, everyone on the receiving end hates dealing with it as they have to screenshot everything to save and it's very inconvenient post-send for me for reasons listed. However the convenience and quickness of taking the photo, savings and sending is just SO huge.

Is there an app that has similar pro's and solves my con's???

The closest I've found to having the pro's is possibly whatsapp since there is a widget straight to the camera, but the resolution of videos is even worse and you also can't choose between lenses to use or anything like that. I'm guessing it's a screen record but even worse quality.

I have a "backup phone" that I use only for emergencies or when a guest is visiting and needs a phone for a week. What prepaid wireless vendor has the cheapest minimum monthly charge, or maybe only charges you to fill up your account and has no monthly charge? I used to have a plan with AT&T where I could buy time in $10 increments and had no monthly charge. I would also like to get a domestic phone call rate of under 10 cents, and when I am called on the phone from overseas I do not want to pay an International rate for the incoming call. What are my best options?

I wanted to price AT&T wireless prepaid plans for a phone I rarely use. I called AT&T and after maybe 20 minutes of back and forth, the rep could not figure out what number to call for AT&T sales. She finally found a number 800-901-9878. When I call that no combination of voice or keys can get me past a prompt asking for an AT&T wireless phone number. When you say "I don't have one" you are directed to prompts that are irrelevant to a person wanting a new phone. Then they hang up on you.

So AT&T has become so dysfunctional that AT&T cannot direct me to their own sales people, and in spite of my persistence trying to get a sales quote, they just hang up on me.

AT&T is doomed.

I'm not much involve in smartphone I prefer laptop, so I miss a lot of Android background here.

My question is about how could I change the clock position on the lock screen?
I suppose there's some internal values editable elsewhere than from settings, right?

I don't have any custom settings on the smartphone an old Motorola Z2 Force which is still running Factory but upgraded Android 9.

My wish is just to move down the clock to some hundred of pixels to keep having a people picture in the background not having the clock in the face.

It's possible for sure, how?
I would appreciate some simple hint or trick for accomplishing that.
