i have android 12 on my samsung smartphone and tablet. all works well on my phone but not on my tablet: 1. there's is no automatic connection with my provider as it was by android 11. now every time i open my tablet i must log in..
2. i switched off '' live subtitle '' .when i open my tablet this future is on again. as i said i don't have this issue on my phone. how can I fix them on my tablet? i think these are errors in this new android 12.

Hello, Im running on a samsung s8+, Ive been trying to do the veve nft drops, but i have found out my phone processor is to slow for the processor to keep up with the timer, making it impossible to claim any drops. I was wondering if thier was a way to use my computer procesing power to run my android faster? Im thinking of using the s8 as rooted, and possibly using horizon rom with linux or windows 11. Any help would be appreciated even if to say its impossible and im crazy. I just dont want to spend weeks trying something that is impossible and havent been able to find anything online about it. thank you

A proposal is being written in response to a government SBIR proposal request.

The proposal request requires two or more cell phones be in a totally enclosed dark hemispherical container. Two or more phones are to be distributed around the container's inner wall where they are to be mounted. The hemisphere, or dome, has a diameter of roughly 3 feet.

One of the phones will take a picture with its flash. The other phones will take a picture without flash by holding the equivalent of their shutters open long enough, and with the right timing, to use the flashing phone's illumination before closing.

Then each phone in the container will, in turn, take a picture with its flash, and all other phones will use that flash from that currently flashing phone to get a picture in the same way as before.

When all phones have flashed, the images from all phones will be transferred to a PC, or a master phone which would be one of the phones taking the pictures, for image processing. The transfer can be by Bluetooth, or USB cable, which ever would require the least development effort.

I am not at liberty to say what image processing will be done with the pictures, or what the cameras will be photographing.

The scenario that comes to mind is that the non flashing phones are set to an exposure time long enough to assure the flash from the flashing phone is captured. Then those cameras are all triggered, and then the flashing phone's camera is triggered.

Another scenario is that the non flashing phones be commanded to hold their shutters open. The flashing phone takes it shot. Then the non flashing phones are commanded to close their shutters.

For Phase 1 proof of concept USB connections are not required. Phase 2 will require USB connections to at least keep them charged, if USB is not use for communication.

My questions:

1) Will acquiring the images in this way require a custom phone application in each phone?

2) Which Android phone is best suited for this task?

3) Can this be done entirely, or in part, with MacroDroid?

4) If a custom app is required, what IDE should be used? The project is on a low budget, so an IDE licensing cost is a factor. Is Android Studio up to it?

5) If custom software is required, which camera API should be used for this?

I'm running Android-x86 7.1 in VirtualBox on my laptop with Linux as the host. Android boots up with a Grub menu that I'd like to customize permanently. However there is no /boot directory or /etc/default/grub file to edit in the installation. Is editing Grub in this environment actually possible?

The screen on this device no longer lights up when a call comes in soI can't answer. If I push the button to activate the screen, the call is terminated. I can't find anything about this in the settings, general or telephone, or in the help files. I'd greatly appreciate it if someone has had this problem and been able or correct it, or has a good idea, and could pass the information on.

so yeah, my phone is beat up. it has been dropped and put into water many times with no issues to the phone. i do have a rugged spigen armor case on it. but all of that has been in the past. for at least a month now it has ben running great, but yesterday the front screen started to act funny. it would flash different colors like it was on acid or something and then it would be fine for the rest of the day. i woke up this morning and the front screen will not turn on. and it is not a a brightness setting. i can open the phone up and it works like normal. it is just when i close it up, i can't use the front screen. i can make a call or answer the call when it is open. it will also work during a call after i close the phone......so it is definitely the screen.

gonna head on over to my samsung store.....i do have the samsung care+ so i should be fine. i'm more curious to see if anybody else has seen this happen or not.

So who got Android 12 on their Note 20 Ultra?

Scenario: You have one antivirus installed on your phone. You suspect that your phone might have malware so you do a system scan and your AV doesn't find anything. So you decide to download another AV to see if it finds something on your system. You install the second AV while you still have the first AV installed on your phone, so now you have two antivirus programs installed on one phone. You do a system scan with the second AV and it doesn't find anything.


So what I'm asking is, if you already have one antivirus installed on your android, will installing a second one cause problems? Will the first AV stop the second AV from working properly and vice versa? If the first AV wasn't capable of detecting some malware on your phone, will the second AV be capable of doing it if you have two antivirus programs installed? Even if the second AV is better at detecting malware than the first AV, will having both of them installed at the same time cause the second AV(the better one) to not work properly? On computer they say you shouldn't have two AV's, does the same thing apply for Android?

Upgraded to 12.0 now my on screen phone buttons will not answer or end phone calls and my alarm button will not end the alarm. Is there a setting I can check or change?Does anyone else have this problem? It's irritating to not be able to answer calls for my business.

For about a month now I've been getting this notification on my galaxy S5:

"You have lost data connectivity because you left your home network with data roaming turned off"

Now mind you, I live on Guam, haven't left the island, and it happens at random times of the day or night. Doesnt matter if I am at home, on the road, at work, the mall. My roaming is always off, I don't need it on adding extra charges to my account, and I'm not in a different country anyway.

I tried to turn on my Location, thinking it'll remind my phone I haven't left, but it didn't work.

Not sure what this board offers for tools, but a couple of boards I Admin at, we have a tool resizer in the reply toolbox, which allows members to resize attachments and embedded images to a more site friendly size.

It also allows staff the same if the membership is not toolbar savvy.

This is what the tool looks like, the size value can be changed to whatever image size wanted, 500 pixels is the default used for this particular board setting, default is changed in the script if a different size is want for default.
