I've got an Android LG G6 and switched to T-Mobile about 6 months ago. Frankly, I get horrible reception and I'm in a major suburb of Denver, CO. halfway between downtown and the mountains. My typical signal strength is one bar, sometimes none, sometimes two but that's it. If I drive a mile away I can get 5. There's nobody to actually talk to at T-Mobile and of course they tout "complete coverage". When I've complained online the response is you must be using your phone inside (well, duh!) or it's time for an upgrade (well, duh again!). But why the poor reception which I didn't have when I switched from AT&T? I want to upgrade, probably to a Samsung A52, but I'm concerned that reception won't improve and could get worse (impossible!!). I keep reading about T-Mobile and their push to all 4G/5G but also complaints with poor signal strength. Any thoughts? Any way to contact human tech support within TM? Do I switch to another carrier?

A while back my Skype suddenly stopped connecting to the internet on my Android (8.1) phone using the wifi.

I know it´s a Microsoft-Android issue as at the same time I could not (and still can´t) connect to my email using Outlook (hotmail).

Other apps and webpages connect to the internet without any problems using the same phone.

Also, using the same wifi I can connect to both Skype and Hotmail via my laptop.

Weird right? I haven´t found a fix for this yet. I have tried reinstalling and also deleting the app data and also changing the date and time settings on my phone - as are the usual suggestions on the Microsoft forums. But to no avail.

Does anyone have any ideas? Has this happened to anyone else.

(For clarity I was able to login to Skype and Outlook email using data on the same Android phone)

Hello, when I say "Hi Bixby" I hear recently double, different, beeps when activate Bixby Voice and then it mostly shuts down, sometimes even before ending my spoken command. How to resolve so the second beep not stopping the voice tasks?

I have transferred everything but text message history and memos. The g power does not come with a memo app so this really puzzles me. Is there a memo app that is equivalent to the memo app in galaxy?
I find several apps that are supposed to be able to transfer the text messages but Which one works well?

I was using the ThreeTen backport for Date/Time classes. I have successfully created a type convertor for the date I get back as a String - provided below

I'd like to remove some bloatware from my Samsung S10 (Android v11, UI 3.1), specifically the LED cover software as it conflicts with Bluetooth devices when closing the lid (loosing connections each time).

These are my exact steps
1. download https://dl.google.com/android/repository/platform-tools-latest-windows.zip
2. Extract zip file
3. copy folder "platform-tools" to C:\ADB
4. On smartphone, change to developer mode:
Settings > About Phone > Software Information >tap Build number 7x
5. Connect the smartphone using USB

Change USB mode to "File Transfer mode", as follows:

6. Smartphone: Settings > Developer options (at the bottom)
7. Tap on: "Default USB Configuration", select: "Transferring Files"

8. Windows (command prompt) go to C:\ADB
9. (Admin) Command prompt: adb devices

10. Download and install latest Samsung USB Drivers

I can access the S10 from within Windows
Like: "This PC\MyName's S10\Phone\DCIM\Camera" and files are being displayed there.

Hello, yesterday my wife's phone started displaying app screens, changing every second or so. It seemed like it was displaying all open apps. She had to force it to restart by holding down the power key. That worked but it has done it again several times. Anybody know what could be causing this?

I swipe up to get the apps. I long press on one to get the popup menu which has the uninstall option. The menu appears but when I move to select uninstall the menu disappears. Any ideas?

I have about 400 music albums/folders on my Mac. I also want them to be on my S21 Ultra. I uploaded all of them to Google Drive, and am now using Astro File Manager to copy them to my phone. I'm about 3/4 finished and at least three of the folders gave me the attached error message when I tried to copy them to my phone. I can't figure out why they will not copy. Anyone have any ideas? All three play fine through my Mac so I don't believe that they are corrupt. How else could I get these three folders on my phone without directly wiring my phone to my Mac? Each folder is about 500MB. Thanks.

My s10+ stopped sending and receiving pictures on my messages app. Sending and receiving texts works fine, but no pictures. Tried restarting and clearing cache but no change. Any ideas how to fix this?

i just got a brand new quest 5 zte z3351 2 months ago. The phone screen sensitivity seems to be messed up or whatever controls the touch screen. After i hit a couple icons or buttons the rest dont work or when typing a message i find myself having to take a cloth a wipe the screen to get anymore use out of the phone. I use my long sleeve tshirt sleeve to wipe the screen is the buttons or touch screen stops working and then it continues to work. Whichever area stops working i can wipe just that part of the screen say lower icons needing use and the phone continues to functions but then stops within a few seconds of use. Anyone know why it does this just started occurring 2 days ago.

There was a problem with my old Prestigio phone today. When I turned on the phone, after the battery was discharged and after it stood in that state for a couple of days, an MTP error occurred when turning on the phone.

By the way, I'm not sure what version of the system it is, maybe it's 5.x.x. I tried to hold down the power button to reboot it, but it didn't work. It still stands like this, only that empty row (black) moves slowly into the rows below and so on.

So I have a Samsung Note 10+. In our home we have a Google Hub & a Google Mini. The Hub and mini recognize my voice flawlessly. But now my phone wont activate when I say okay google. I am outside the vicinity of the other google devices and I have even tried it outside and still nothing activates.... I have retrained the voice numerous times. Still nothing. It worked perfectly fine and then all of a sudden it doesnt.
