Hello All.

Got a weird one,

Loosing my mobile data connection when transitioning from WIFI to Mobile data.

A flick of Aeroplane mode and up she come's. Sometimes the off/on is not required.

Android 10, RealMe 7 5G, Telstra Australia.

Rebuilt phone, and APN's no change.

Googling has give me many leads, but none successful.

Any idea's?

A few weeks ago I got a new phone. I installed the Uber app right away and added funds to my Uber cash wallet through a one-time purchase using the card I have on file no problem. Now when I try to add funds to my wallet this way, when I tap on wallet, add funds, one-time purchase, nothing happens. When I tap on the link, I hear the clicking sound, but absolutely nothing happens like the link is dead. the other two links under add funds, auto refill and gift card, work just fine, and thankfully there are several stores in my town that have Uber gift cards that I can buy to add funds to my wallet, but the one-time purchase link does nothing. I tried un-installing and re-installing the app several times and even completely clearing my phones cache, but the problem still persists. I messaged Uber through the help link and they were useless and responded with an answer that completely ignored my question. What can I do? Has anyone else had this problem? is this a problem with the app or the phone? I have a Samsung Galaxy A51 5G UW.

I've never had one or held one. Are they still a thing? Actually issued by governments I mean.

Have a listview with custom rows. 1 imageview and several textviews. My arrayAdapter works perfectly populating the list. When I click on an item I start an activity (for result) to view/modify the item. If it was modified I get a reference to each of the views in the item using findViewById(bla) and I update them using setText, setImageResourceID, etc... This works while the view I just updated is in sight. However, when scrolled out of view the Icon on my listview item goes into green spaz-mode. when scrolled back into view.

I should probably mention that I'm sing a holder process to smooth scroll my listview. Not sure if this is the problem or if it's unrelated. Been trying to find articles on how to clear my listview after an edit and reload my existing data using the same source and arrayadapter. Not having any luck finding out how to do this. Any ideas out there? Went from a 10 year windows programmer to android 3 months ago. Finding the transition unsettling so far but determined. Help?

but now im stuck in the step 19 when i type fastboot oem unlock i can get 3 results

"fastboot devices" works, it shows my device
"fastboot oem device-info" also works, it shows:

Even though I have selected to keep the phone unlocked in Trusted Places (my home address) it locks the phone many times per day. This is with Android Version 11. This gets annoying after a while. Any ideas?

I have a Google Pixel 3XL running Android 10 that is rooted and it runs fine. However, about once every other week, I see a notification that reads "Install update to keep device secure. Your system is xxx days out of date..."

What is annoying about this notification is that it cannot simply be cleared - one has to touch the 'learn more' button, then kill that process.

What I would like to do is permanently hide this notification. Is this possible? If so, what should be done?

Hi all,

I’m new to Android (work phone), around 2 weeks ago our IT department rolled out an update and since them i’m just getting hammered with non-stop notifications from the Android system saying ‘Your location can be accessed, your IT admin is allowing teams to access your location’. These notifications are every couple of mins, sometimes only 30 seconds apart, i’m assuming when the app refreshes it’s generating this message.

These notifications are every couple of minutes, all day, every day! The mrs is complaining, i’m ready to throw the phone out of the window, and our IT department is useless and can’t advise, does anyone know how to just turn off these notifications without turning off legitimate notifications for teams calls/messages?

I am a beginner in flashing and hacking smartphones.

I just broke my Galaxy S3 4G GT-I9305 Android KitKat which is now useless (broken screen, no more access to the networks of telephone operators).

Luckily, I kept my old Galaxy Y GT-S5360 (initial ROM: Android Gingerbread 2.3.6), on which I flashed a MangoME "custom ROM" (beta version) a few years ago to test it. seems to me by following this procedure => currently, I therefore have a MangoME ROM with Android Marshmallow 6.0.

I tried to use it again. It works well for the use I have (phone and SMS) but I get stuck on the synchronization of appointments which is necessary for me because I cannot install DavDroid.

When I try to install with ADB davdroid_192.apk, I get the error "Installation error: INSTALL_FAILED_OLDER_SDK". By running the APK from this site I get: Minimal supported Android version: KitKat (4.4 - 4.4.4) - API level 19 (information corroborated by manual installation from the phone).
However, my Android is a Marshmallow 6.0 => API level 23

19 <23 => it should work so why this fatal error?

I have several ideas for ways to dig (which I would be happy to submit to you) but first I would like to know why I have this error.

I just purchased a Note 20 Ultra. I bought a tempered glass screen protector but the fingerprint scanner does not work with it. Someone from the AT&T store told me I don't need a screen protector because of the gorilla glass victus. When I Google this I am told I absolutely DO need a screen protector. What does everyone think about this. If I do need a screen protector, which one will actually work with the fingerprint scanner?

I was deleting files from my download few weeks and came across this folder "AppMoniterSDKLogs" and i just deleted it. Today again this folder was recreated what is it? It contains one trace(date month or some text).html file which contains phone basic info and others number does this mean someone placed spyware inside my phone? What is it some kind of virus.?

I am getting conflicting information on whether or not my Galaxy A20 2019 is going to get the
Android 11 or not. I have read that the A20 is going to get four years of quarterly security
updates and that's amazing. Does anyone have more current/legitimate information ?

I can't find a way in the messaging app to block a sender/phone number from sending me text messages.

So with the new chrome update on my galaxy s10 it turned on tab groups which I hate intensely. I liked the old card windows I could just click away one handed to close.

All I keep saying is people saying I need to go to chrome://flags/#enable-tab-grid-layout and set tab groups to disabled and relaunch chrome. I've done that multiple times but it never works. Closed all chrome tabs and reopened, restarted my phone, relaunched chrome. I can't get rid of the tab groups.

Any suggestions? Thank you.

Hi! I have removed the lockscreen and status bar with NiceLock . But I can't find a way to remove it from the drop down notification shade. Does anyone know if it is possible somehow? Thanks!
