Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

When I ordered in a store on 6/4 the lady was doing the order and she said wow...it will not be here till the 24th....well that got changed 3 times....as it stands right now it will ship on the 25th....no way I am calling today after what everyone else is finding out...lol

i'm still hoping i'll receive that e-mail miraculously so i'll have it by monday....currently 3:14pm....
 
Just got off the phone with nice CSR (had a southern accent which made it more pleasant to hear that my phone doesn't have tracking number yet). BUT he said that he wouldn't count it completely out for shipping today, but also wouldn't commit to any date and I quote 'Because I don't want to put my foot in my mouth or make promises that I can't deliver on'. He also scheduled a follow up to call me tomorrow.

Nice of him to call you tomorrow....the nice young lady I talked with earlier this week is supposed to call me tomorrow.....so we will see....

I don't understand why none of the reps ever accept my request for a followup. They always tell me to call the 611 number back which will obviously give me someone new.

lol...I think it has more to do with who you actually talk to and how nice they are and if they really care about customer service....it is a dying thing!

At least he didn't just make up something to get you off the phone. You know VZ could have avoided all of these headaches and cust service problems by simply allowing us to acurately track the status of our orders online, instead of the "we will send it as soon as we get it" line we all see when we check our orders. We knew it was going to be a wait, but the part that is driving us all crazy is that no one can acurately tell us how much longer the wait is, especially when the ship dates come and go with no notifications.

Southern accents always make things sound better.:D

I am originally from NC but have lived in TX for the last 10 years....my husband tells me my accent is VERY southern....lol....southern is not a bad thing ya'll

It's not a bad thing at all!!!!!! I'm actually more likely to be nice to someone with a southern accent than I am anyone else cause I love listening to them talk. (Although Irish accept trumps all)
 
I was just told....again....that orders after 5/31 are now 5 days behind and they will start shipping anywhere from now til 6/28 for 6/1-6/3 orders

You give me hope lol. I'm in Mooresville, NC! I'm used to bad luck though so I don't know why I am so suprised it hasn't shipped yet:cool:
 
I have to admit things are looking pretty bleak. Looks like the 6/28 ship by date has gone right out the window. Verizon and HTC majorly dropped the ball on this one. I want restitution!!


yeah, dark days. The lack of communication is what gets me. without this thread I'd be fat and happy thinking that my phone would ship on the 28th.
 
Ordered mine on 6/6 with a promise of 6/28. That date hasn't come so I've been relatively quiet. However if that date does come and I haven't shipped yet there will indeed be hell to pay. And I'll be walking out ahead for sure, or with a new provider (probably not really but ill certainly threaten to walk).

Until then its the Storm1 and trying not to kill myself.

I told the guy I talked to that we have all posted after talking to various CSR's and that it was rare to see the same info given. He was not surprised.
