Root White Widow

hey so the tsu-update3 overclocks to 767 not just 711

I found the same thing. I am 767. Also worth noting, my phone froze on anything over 710 before 4.4. I don't know what changed...but 767 is possible with no issues. I am wondering if JIT somehow limits cpu speed...this is the first rom I have used without JIT, so that is the only thing I can figure out.

First off, thanks for this. This is the only ROM that will allow me to link to my Panasonic TH1212 bluetooth cordless phone.

Here a few questions.

Is there anyway to change the icons that are on the bottom of all the homescreens. Mine has the messaging icon, I'd like to change that to the handscent icon. Also, I can't link my Yahoo account. Lastly, I can't connect via WiFi in my house.

Thanks for any info or tips.

Yes you can, just drag the icon over were you want it to go. i.e.- drag handcent over messaging.

Does this have navigation? Also, if it does, will it be disabled with the LWP patch?

I'm currently running 4.1 and it has navigation and LWP's that run both together pretty smooth, never had any issues with it thus far. Not sure if 4.4 would be any different but I wouldn't see why it would

the lwp may break the 3d navigation but there is only a small chance of that happening so just make a nandroid backup before you flash the wallpaper patch.

also about the overclocking with tsu-update3 i don't freeze over 711 and usually my phone is fine on my own rom (not released) at 806. so it really could be a phone thing

So after messing around some more, I have found that I can access the Market but for some reason when I try to download something it just sits at the download page and nothing ever starts, It never even gets to the download bar??? I have installed the Google apps and flashed that if it helps any.

So when I set up a2sd, I followed the directions perfectly (pretty simple), then went to check it with adb and got:

adb shell
#a2sd check
a2sd check
a2sd: not found

I have it checked off in the settings and everything...

Edit: re-flashing the rom with the sd card partitioned and set up, I'll see if that works since flashing a compatible rom is the last step...

i was always on the OTA 2.1 rooted but wanted to try out a rom since all the other roms had some issues and the WW seemed to have the least amount of issues so i downloaded ww today. rom installed and works. the only problem im having which is a big concern to me at the moment is the email account syncing. no matter what, i cant sync my gmail account to the phone :( anyway of fixing this

UPDATE: account syncing fixed on its own...it just started working after a while

Now i cant find the market app. is it suppose to be removed?

also when using the keyboard on the internet, the vibration doesnt seem to be there. is this removed on purpose? im used to having the phone vibrate after each key

Great rom, super smooth.

2 problems.

1. My notification bar keeps disappearing
2. When im on a call and my screen goes black, i cannot go make it come back on without hitting the end button and ending the call, any fix for that?

thanks andrizoid, great work!

to install google apps you need the google apps package in the second post it includes google market mapps, and anything esle by google

for problem 2, try long press SEND key and also try long press trackball

For all those who have troubles with market, google sign in, maps, anything like that, you must flash the google aps package

download the apps package in the first post
copy it to sd card
reboot to recovery (volume up+power)
choose install from zip
follow instructions and reboot.

check to see if you have your phone to hide the status bar if you hit the home key. its under either spare parts or ADW settings for UI tweaks

try covering and uncovering your proximity sensor. let me know if that works

that doesnt work. a2sd check etc is part of darktremors a2sd. this uses cyanogens custom a2sd

Its not disabled, but it shows when i have an application open and any screen besides my home screen.

And not 100% what proximity censor is, but when i act like im pulling the notification bar down..it comes down even though its not showing.

"but it shows when i have an application open and any screen besides my home screen."
what does that mean?

"it comes down even though its not showing."
how do you know its coming down if you cant see it?

It doesnt show on the screen, but if i pull down where it "should be" it comes down...even though it doesn't display at the top before i drag it down.

the proximity sensor comment was for your in call issue

try checking spare parts. theres ALOT of settings, you may have something checked that you dont want.

im so dumb..dont see proximity censor in spare parts..

it comes down even though its not showing.the proximity sensor is on the top black part above the screen. cover and uncover to see if it works. the seetings your looking for in spare parts is for the notification bar
