Agreed. I've been on vacation since Saturday, and i've been looking at this forum for most of the time. I won't get mine for another 2 weeks most likely.. 6/26 :X
 
I HAVE REALLL ANXIETY RIGHT NOW!!! I AM A 6/13 ONLINE ORDERER ON VZW AND MY EXPECTED DATE TO SHIP IS 7/12!!!!! OMG THIS IS CRAZY. AND I KNOW ITS MY IMAGINATION BUT IT SEEMS THAT MY BB CURVE SCREWS UP MORE AND MORE EVERYDAY. UGGGHHHH.:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
 
Hi fellow loonies. I recieved my phone yesterday.. took it too verizon last night to get my contacts transfered. Took the family out to eat. I likely started playing/setting stuffs up on the phone about nine pm. I played and configured stuff till 5am lol Damn the Dinc is "INCREDIBLE"!!! Once you start playing with it .. it's impossible to sit down. Coming from a bb storm1 I find the Dinc so fast and responsive it's like touchy compared the storm. No more holding and pushing. The biggest learning curve to me has been it happens before you realize you were doing something lol. I love it so far. It's everything I wanted and more.

I'm leaving this post because when I was waiting and I read something like I just typed it made me feel less crazy for waiting a dang month for a cell phone. I'm glad I ordered the Dinc and waited for it. I am still sorry it took a month before I received the phone but I kind of understand how they got so far behind. Between the amoled screen bo which was out of their control... I think they experienced a greater consumer demand then they ever imagined. Once the phone was out and people started talking.. everyone wanted and ordered one. The X will be out next week but don't fret.. it's not going to put the Dinc in a shadow. It's just a different phone and should be a good one from what I've read.. larger though.. so.. it's a matter of taste. I'm a happy camper. I think you will be happy you waited too. It's one hellofa device.

not sure about everyone else, but i am combining my verizon account with my fiance to save us some $, so they have to do that at the store.

LOL thanks for the offer, but I just called my sister and told her to stay home on Monday and sign for it. I told her I'd take her out for ice cream if she does :D

I think my grandma is coming over everyday to feed my cat while i'm on vacation, so i'll tell her to keep an eye out for fedex. But I guess I have to get her ice cream now too? Haha. I think i'll leave the letter on the front door and tell her to look for a box. Either way we'll have them soon!

A note of hope for anyone who ordered in stores. When they sent me my first Dinc I had ordered in store and never received an email notice. I kept checking and before I ever got an email, there it was at the door.

Needless to say I am now checking *611 every 20 min. since it seems there is hope for 6/15's to get there's soon.

My receipt says "overnight" shipping, does that mean if the phone goes out tomorrow I could get it Saturday? I knew there was some confusion as to whether or not Saturday's were included.

I'm hopeing for saturday delivery as well. I ordered very late on the fourteenth so my order didn't get processed until the 15th. And I finially got my email today at 3:55!!!!!! But the bad thing is that its late thursday and they down graded my free overnight and I never received the 25 dollar card. Right now I don't even mind because I'm soooooooo excited!!!!!:)
 
I was just stopping by my parents house after work today. I am having the Dinc shipped there since I'm at work all day and odds are won't be able to sign for it if it comes before 5. I'm just about to leave (still no email/611) and I see a fedex truck coming up the court.....stopping in front of my car.... my heart stopped.... the package he brought out was about 2x2 ft.......fail.

I did suggest to my dad that "maybe they put extra packing material since my last one broke?"

I wouldn't count on Saturday, from what I've heard Fedex doesn't deliver on Saturdays unless it's priority shipping...which I doubt Verizon has for us.
 
6/6 order... still waiting. Talked with a "supervisor" a moment ago. Supposedly they have "expedited" my order with the warehouse. Feel good stuff. They keep saying the screens are bad and they are being replaced with "the better HDMI screens". I finally called bullshit on them, and made it clear there was no such thing as HDMI screens, damnit! Plus I want the LED (you know, like the one in the phone I ordered). Eff you Verizon! Stick your Sony TFTs up your arse!

Sadly just confirmed this through some google searches. It's an extra $10-$20.

However since mine was shipped overnight AND last time I did not get an email (although I didn't know about 611 then) ....maybe...just maybe I will have it in my hands tomorrow.
 
Hello my fellow hostage family....

For the past couple of days I have been getting emails from verizon telling me that I am eligable for an upgrade (this I know) and that the Droid Incredible could be the perfect phone for me (I suspect this). And today I got a flyer in the mail telling me the same thing and advertising the Incredible.

HEY DEE DEE DEE, I ALREADY ORDERED THE INCREDIBLE!!!!

So I called CS to see why I keep getting these emails and why I got the flyer in the mail. CSR's answer "Uhhhh....I dont know. You already upgraded your line and with the Incredible at that. Its kind of stupid for them to send that to you." I agreed and stated that it was very unprofessional of them to keep me waiting a month and then instead of my tracking number or phone they are sending me spam and flyers advertising the phone I am waiting on. CSR agreed and then put me on hold. No idea what she was doing but when she came back she said that I would recieve an email with my tracking number on Monday or Tuesday with my shipping being on Wednesday (7/14) with overnight shipping. And that gauranteed I will have the phone in my hands on 7/15. BUT!!!! It could go out sooner. It all depends on when they send the shipment to my regions warehouse.
Getting really tired of all their crap...

LOL, I was in my back yard playing with my son. I live next to a main street so I see all the traffic and I have been keepin my eyes out for fedex trucks.:p

On another note.....MY INCREDIBLE SHOWED UP!!!:D:D

6/14 PHONE ORDER
7/12 EST SHIP DATE
7/6 ACTUAL SHIP DATE
7/8 ARRIVAL!!!!!:D

It's currently on the charger and then the fun begins!!
