Root White Widow

You likely overclocked it too high. Remember, just because some people can overclock to a certain speed doesn't mean your phone can too. I don't know how the OC widget works, but make sure you don't set any "on boot" toggles yet either.

Pretty sure you dont have JIT enabled.. I was getting 3 MFLOPS right after going to 4.5 which didnt seem right so I did a dalvik wipe and flashed the JIT on package and my MFLOPS didnt change so I flashed the off package and here I am.

im pretty sure i do. :P
when your booting up run an adb logcat. you will see mentions of JIT Pages. maybe something went wrong for you-sounds like it just from the linpack scores, if you look on the suave smush thread i posted some scores i got from that rom which is based off of white widow.

i recommend re-downloading it and flashing again. check the logcat reports as its booting up

I don't get it...

sorry to thread jack but where is the thread on you smash rom? I need a non froyo, non cyanogen rom and went back to that one but can't find the thread to find out if there are little bits I need to download to go with it.

if you can tell me how to get audible app running on a cyanogen rom, I would be happy to stay with white widow, but no one has answered my question so i assume it just isn't possible

Hmm, good question, it looks like it disappeared :(
I liked that ROM but I couldn't get a2sd to work for some reason.
Now using White Widow and I feel like I've fallen in love with my phone all over again

When I installed the Sauve Smush rom all my market apps "restored" thru the market. for some reason when I flash this they all show up but don't all install by them selves. any idea how to do this?

tried to do a *228 and didnt have a dialer after that to make selections???wtf
kick ass thanks for your efforts.

Anyone have trouble with the camera ? It repeatedly force closes on me. A reboot of the phone allows me to get a few pics but once it FCs, the camera will NEVER work again until the phone is rebooted.

Has anyone gotten apps2sd working?

Yes, it's in Settings --> Applications if I recall correctly. Also when you go to Manage Apps, click an app, it will tell you if it's installed internally or on the SD card, and you can move it back and forth.

Looking forward to JIT on 4.5. One question: where do I find the google-apps-etc.zip?

It's in the second post of this thread.

Is there any way to change the lock screen timeout speed? I feel like the lock screen doesn't stay on as long as before (coming from stock Sense). It stays on for maybe 3 seconds or so. It will also turn off in the middle of an unlock swipe... it doesn't seem to care that you're touching it. So you have to turn it back on and do it again.

Any help is appreciated :)

Thanks for the response. However, the option is greyed out/un-selectable.
