Froyo live on 7/30 for the evo?

It means that Froyo is getting very very close to being released on all the major devices. :)

Beast Mode [ON] - OFF

I can live with out it till then, my DX is still better then an EVO...

haaaa keep dreaming about that ..... Either way not trying to start a fight but is simply the persons preference ... So i like my evo and you like your DX .. And no one will change it .. just be glad our phones are getting the Updates ...

Dude..that is like punching him and just saying "its all good". I'm an EVO owner but I think both devices are just awesome.
 
Is this the Droid X forum or the Evo forum. If so why are Evo owners posting in the Droid X forum? Am I missing something here?:cool:
 
When I first got the Evo (2 tries...both returned for defects), it had around 350mb internal storage vs DX (waiting on first replacement for defect) which has around 6.8gig internal storage. So 2.2's app2sd feature will definitely come in handy for the Evo owners...although with a class 2 sd card on the phone, not sure how that is going to play out.

Either way, have to give it to Sprint/HTC for getting 2.2 out so quickly.
 
Great news. Evo with froyo still is slower than the X with 2.1. Trust me I was just comparing the two side by side yesterday.

no but really, i played with a droid X for a minute the other day. obviously, i don't have real world use, but it seemed very similiar to my evo. nice phone. however, i personally like the look and feel of the evo more. the big thing was the home/menu buttons. evo's touch buttons are cleaner looking.

the phone is only as good as its carrier.....
 
Well this should mean the Inc could get it the same day? They both HTC phones running Sense UI.......

i don't troll...i just stopped over to see what people were saying about teh X.

i think we all know the EVO is the king of superphones. :D
