Favorite Game Soundtrack?

I personally love listening to game soundtracks. There's such a big range and so many are beautifully done. What are some of your favorites?

A few of mine are:

WoW collection
Guild Wars collection
Nintendo epics (Legend of Zelda, Super Mario Bros., and so forth)
Dragon Age: Origins
Final Fantasy collection
 
Never really paid much attention to the soundtracks. I'd say sports games have the best soundtracks b/c they have music I'd actually want to listen to.

i absolutely hate how EA shoved almost all competitors out with the exclusivity agreements but damn if madden hasnt had great soundtracks...
 
I am a huuuuuuuuuuuuuge fan of Katamari Damacy's soundtrack.

The opening title sequence made my head explode the first time I watched it.
 
I agree with the OP pretty much...

The WoW soundtrack was great (my fav was in stormwind)
Also the soundtrack in first party Nintendo game are always great, although Zelda stands out here to me. Particularly in Windwaker.

Yea, Madden has some good soundtracks. I agree with the Nintendo epics and Final Fantasy collection too...

Midnight Club.

Shadowrun for the SNES I think. Thats also one of my fav games of all time.
 
Agree with MGS 4 i also like Gears of War the first one i was always a sucker for the radio on Burnout Revenge

Haha! That's messed up! I usually turn the sound way down on Silent Hill. It creeps me out!

My favorite is Dragon Age: Origins. I also like the UFC 2009 music, though it gets a but redundant. I had Hollywood Undead stuck in my head for days after my son rented it. Haven't rented the 2010 one yet, but I bet that's gonna be a good soundtrack, too.

The Halo games are pretty good, too. For some reason, my son loves the Fallout 3 soundtrack - I haven't listened to much of it but it's oldies of some sort. I'm looking forward to Fallout: New Vegas. That one is bound to have some good Rat Pack tunes in it. (Though I'm dreading the possibility of Wayne Newton.)

I don't have Dante's Inferno, but I loved the commercial for it. The song was "Ain't No Sunshine (When She's Gone)" by Bill Withers.
