Root Evo Port Test ROMs | Droid Incredible

Hrm - just tried to push the new Droid 2 bootanimation to my phone using

adb push bootanimation.zip /data/local

it moved the file successfully but when I rebooted it sort of froze ad th HTC Incredible screen then went back to the stock bootanimation from 2.2

I tried also adb push bootanimation.zip /system/media/

but that failed with a failed to copy error (read only directory)

what am I missing here? :P

First and foremost: LOVE THE ROM. Everything works like it should.

Only issue I have found is with Adfree. I installed and updated HOSTS, but when I open apps its shows a little android and say's can't connect to webpage. I rebooted like it said, but still the same.

Any advice would be great. THX.

ok guys i have two small updates, i know i sound like a broken record. The first is for those that already have b2 set up the way they like it. It fixes voice search from keyboard and navi, audio issue fix from adrynalyne with heap size and the Stock Android e-mail app that has exchange working with just the stock lockscreen even if your server policy hasn't allowed it before.

the second is a b3, no there is not a sense version of b3. This includes all of my fixes that I have posted except for the evo keyboard. So this includes: Android e-mail app that has exchange working with just the stock lockscreen even if your server policy hasn't allowed it before, Audio Fix, Voice Fix, Heap Size and Live Wallpapers.

Michaelnhf, I love senseless ROM and was wondering if you would make one that is completely free of HTC stuff...ie stock android dial pad, messaging and so on? Just curious. Thanks!!! :)

I love this ROM; but I'm trying to find out if this ROM has the Audio Fix. I try listening to my Sirius XM App and after about 5 minutes or so the audio would "back up" and then restart and get stuck in a loop. I'm assuming this is related to the Froyo streaming audio issues?

whoa now guys im not that good but someone else should try too... ill try and get some good pictures but not sure how much i can animate will try though...

Just whipped this up in Photoshop...

it gets a little tricky once you get deep into changing all of the apps, for instance when you try to swap the dialer and contacts it really likes to fc everything i've been working on swapping apps but it get tedious with the trial and error.

ya know - just from personal interest - my daddy once said "You can't please everyone all the time" - so maybe try to make things more modular - let the person using the rom pick n choose what apps to remove - for example - i hate the fact that i can't sync facebook phone numbers with the default facebook app, but HTC sense facebook was removed so that is f'ed in the A too - but if I had a choice - to say - remove my own shiznit following one of the 10000 posts on how exactly to uninstall crapware - that would make me feel a bit better. One man's bloatware is another man's enterprise vital app!

Hell, even if all the disabled apks were just put in a documented folder that a user like myself could re install easily without having to tear open backups and download other roms and stripe out the applications to get the functionaly I enjoy back...

Just a thought since the developers of this rom are disabling more and more applications.

And yes, I fully understand the concept "if you don't like it don't use it"
