It seems that charging the battery with the phone off is good to bring it to about 95% reliable charge.

ok im down to 60% and all i've really done is stream those first 20 minutes of my day :confused: made a few calls and texts but nothing major. This is my first charge so maybe a few chargers and it'd be better.

wow, thats kind of disappointing.

Do realize this is the case for all extended batteries, regardless of brand. Actually, I think it may even be true for our OEM batteries that came with the phone. Charging it in the external charger provided much more reliable power than charging through the phone.

I don't know about that, but my 2nd day was already beginning to be better. I'm now running at 15hrs 47min and 53 seconds. It's at 7% right now, but I've been using this much more than my stock batteries.

Android System = 29%
Cell Standby = 27%
Phone Idle = 19%
Display = 9%
World Series of Poker: Hold 'Em = 8%
Bluetooth = 6%
Mediaserver = 2%

This is the 2nd day and it's around 3 folds better than yesterday, using the 2nd 3000 mAh. Will be changing the 1st one once this phone shuts down. :)

my oem red htc battery did the same , first use was awful but it improved after a couple of cycles, i'd say that holds true for batteries in general

i have an external charger on the way so hopefully that helps and this is my first charge so maybe after 2 or 3 full chargers and drains it will be what i was hoping for. It is better than my stock battery though my battery would be nearing its end about now.

Almost 16 hours and got 47% left. Regular use, listened to about 100 songs on pandora as well.

I look forward to that. One day I'll get a package from Hong Kong and will be able to go.a hole day at work without charging once. The only way i can go over 12 hours now.is if.it is beside my bed with the (alarm clock / paper weight) app. Lol

im having a hell of a time trying to get the chinese battery to stop above 88% dropoff. this is frustrating.

Mine was dropping like that also. I had to charge to full. Turn phone off, unplug charger, charge till green LED, then unplug, re-plug, charge till green, repeat....but that only helps for a little while. I just deal with it.

i have eng boot .79 and my s is on. i was rooted by unrevoked 3 but have changed to simpleroot. ive tried wiping from both clockwork and ra, but maybe my s-on isnt allowing me to wipe stats correctly

thx

If you charge in an external changer the fast drop doesn't happen. If your using an external chargers already then you mighty have gotten a bad battery

how is everyone's back door fitting? the one i have isn't tight. the side with the volume buttons seem to easily lift. it doesn't fall off but if i pull on it a bit it'll lift right off. it has a certain creek to it as well all around.

does anyone's extended battery get hot with use? continuous internet browsing gets me to 40C on the regular OEM battery but it gets to 42-44C with the extended battery :/

my door was very tight at first but after weeks of taking it off to swap batteries its like oem now nice and easy :} have i said that i love this battery enough yet:D flashed fresh rom with overclock kernel running 1152 and still getting 8hrs with pretty heavy use( lets golf, tv shows, surfing text and email) and i no longer notice the weight or the size at all! this is my new normal

Well I just ordered two 3500 mah batteries. At 9.99 each and free shipping .as long as it don't brick my phone I will be satisfied.come on under ten bucks.

man... i'm pretty disappointed then... i was really looking forward to having the extended battery but with my fitment issues and it getting too hot. i don't know... i wanted to get it to play games longer when i'm out but if it's going to burn up just by web browsing, i don't even want to start using it for games.

which ebay buyers did you all buy from? i got mine from tuttoit. they're the 2700mah batteries, are you all using 3000mah batteries?
