One big issue I have with using custom icons thru adw (using its customer shortcut) is the icons come out really small. Anybody know of a way to fix this. Also did they take Desktop Visualizer off the market?

Here's what i have so far. Trying to get it down to 5 screen, these 3 being my main screens and the ones i'm done working on... for now.

Screen1: Jorte - free in market. favorite calendar widget, it has TONS of widget options (Monthy, Weekly, 2-Weeks Horizontal, Tasks, Agenda) and if you go into the settings, there's more widget shapes and sizes so you can make it fit your screen. I settled on Jorte Horizontal 4x2 widget, and Jorte Agenda 4x2 widget. I tried the full calendar widget... but this seemed more usefull

I use Jorte too, and love your transparency. I can't figure out how to get the font white though. How do you change the font color?
 
Im a teen and have been waiting for this phone but looking at everyone's pics..

This sh*t looks way too complex. Does Android modding ever end? Is it limitless?

Hehe it does take a good amount of searching and downloading to really achieve a huge amount of customizations. It's not too complicated once you get going. If you do it enough, it really becomes second nature. As long as people will continue to make new icon packs, docks, etc... it will be limitless in that respect.

Take it slowly and step by step! Don't take it in all at once because that will really overwhelm you.

Far right screen - Emulators. (SCUMMVM, NES, GEN, SNES). Then misc. games. And finally my comics/books area. (Android Comic Viewer, Aldiko, Comic Shopper, and My Collection Pro.

I'm still constantly playing around and moving things, adding things, removing things. This will probably always be a work in progress lol.

Dude, if you're a teen, YOU should be teaching US how to mod and hack our Droids. You're a digital native. We're just immigrants. ;)

I have 2 homescreens and it works great. I use launch-x pro to put more icons in a single row. I use smart shortcuts to make nice folders, and I use launcher pro to have a 5 icon dock at the bottom that can launch 10 apps with icons and gestures. My home button opens my app drawer which is a single page even though I have over 100 apps on my phone thanks to folders and being able to hide icons in the app drawer. Also I put some Widgets like agenda and battery left on my lock screen using widget locker.

Ahh a Mac guy. That explains it. lol just kidding :) But thats what I love about Android-- you have the option to customize the heck out of your phone if you want, or you can leave it as is.

I personally am new to android, but I love customizing and theming. I always customize my win7 desktop and I'm constantly changing it cause I'm never happy. Now with my android phone, I can do the same! I even spent many hours learning how to root, just to use metamorph to get themes and the black status bar on my phone.
 
Very plain, and simplistic... Still trying to figure out what I like so I've been changing the layout almost daily...

Has anyone figured out how chadwick is able to get that transparent background on his switchpro widget?? When I choose translucent, the background is different. No background, just gives me no background.

Ummm, correct me if I am wrong, but isn't transparent the same as no background? The default is almost black/dark grey, translucent is a lighter grey which looks like what he has, and no background is transparent/invisible.

The clock is D-Clock which comes packaged with both a white and black version. The battery widget is called Quick Battery, and if you grab Quick Settings as well, clicking on the widget brings up Quick Settings which has been a great way to manage various settings on the fly.
