What colour Hero?

would have got the graphite if it was available but i got the White one on release day as it was the only non contract one available at the time.

and now i have seen the graphite and brown ones up close i have to say i made the right choice.

Much prefer the White one, it did get a little stained on the back from my leather case but a simple wipe with a baby wipe and it is like new again.

LOVE IT ..!
 
Wouldve loved the graphite one but there's no way on earth i'm ever buying anything with an orange logo on it again, so went for the white one and very happy with that.

Appreciate your views on my post no 13 in this thread.
After looking at the pic of the Orange-branded Graphite model I realised it's got an Orange Logo :eek: ...do you know if there's a Graphite casing without the logo?
 
dont know if it makes any difference to you, but the logo is pretty small and unobtrusive on the back of the case.

I'm pretty sure the Brown model = Graphite edition, of which there is no original UK Sim Free model. Find me an Amazon or Play.com link to the brown/graphite one sim free.

a) brown & graphite are totally different.

b) play and amazon aren't the be all and end all. The information in my post is correct, check expenses or carphone warehouse for the brown model

I mean the "Orange" logo...which is on the front bottom LHS of the phone in the photo provided by vido.ardes.

Actually, Orange handsets have their only logo dead-centre on the back about 1cm above the lanyard hole. And the graphite is bronze-ish rather than silver.
 
I wanted SIM free, so it was white for me.
However if it had been available SIM free, I'd have had black (I had a T-mobile hero for two days but returned it due to no T-mobile signal in my house - it looked good in black).

That said, having lived with the white for a few days, I like it - a bit different to the usual.
 
I just got a black unlocked SIM free handset in the UK from www.simplyelectronics.net

A couple of others in the office here also just bought - in white (unlocked) and graphite (Orange). The white is def the lady version (!!) and I like both the graphite and black.

Seriously though. Who buys anything except leather goods in brown? :-)

I wanted a 'factory' model, not an unlocked branded one (no tweaked firmware etc) so I didn't have much choice :rolleyes: However I'd say the pink is the lady version(!) and I agree about the brown ;)
 
Graphite on Orange but it doesn't have the silly Orange sticker on the bottom left.

I think it looks lovely :D

I so wanted the white one at first but then i thought iam only gonna buy a nice case for it then it would not show. anyway i have the graphite one which is like a grey/silver colour and love it. i bought this abs coated cases that cover the outer parts of the phone & i have one in white and it looks sooo slick!! customise the hero and it looks amazing.
