obostore sells an armband that looks to be pretty big, dont know for sure if it will fit though. You could contact obostore since they also sell a 3000mah battery and battery door also, and they should be able to test it out for you.

i use the obostore's yoobao 3000 mah. it actually works quite well and can last me 2-3 days of moderate use.

im on my second charge with a 3000 mah and so far so good, im at 29 hours up, 6:30 awake of pretty heavy usage with 22% remaining... loving it

I ordered two 3000mah batteries with covers after reading this thread. Should arrive any day. I'll post some feedback on them in my Evo and my roommate's next week.

i just bought the two 3000mAh w/cover, this post is amazing, thx.
I will post lifespans when i get them xD

i was wondering, what external battery chager do you guys use to charge the extra battery?

thanks again.

For everyone using external chargers, can you possibly post a link where you got it from or which bundle deal you bought for the 3000mah battery+external charger?

I have an external charger for my G1 currently and it helps out a lot in tight situations. When I get the Evo, I would like to know which external battery chargers can be trusted. Thanks.

I agree with the poster above that the Seido/Verizon/Ebay batteries are all made in the same place. There are a few differences, for one. Verizon "claims" to quality check each and every battery that is shipped and sends anything back that is below the average MAH for the specific battery. I also heard that Seidio does QC, but not very often and not very well. I read an article about china/hong-kong factories and read that all of these batteries are LITERALLY made from the same assembly line, and when they get to their rightful owners (verizon/seidio/htc), they put their stamp on it after it has gone through quality control. The reason some people get lemons is because there is no quality control for the ebay ones .They just go into the warehouse, grab one of the 10,000 batteries lying around send send it to you. It costs them 50 cents to make the battery, and verizon/sprint and others exploit the hell out of us because they know the consumer will always take something that is brand name, or considered OEM over anything with no-name. What most consumers don't realize is that they are the same battery! It's all about luck since there is no QC when ordering on ebay, hopefully the seller will respect the buyer and replace the battery if it's bad .

This is the link to the one that I bought. It is from the same seller as the OP. Once in the link, click to see seller's others items, then search "evo" and you'll see all the combos he has for sale.
Extended Battery+Cable+US Charger For Sprint HTC EVO 4G - eBay (item 180533835846 end time Sep-13-10 19:18:43 PDT)

So, I've had my new battery for about 4 days now. The back looks very good and mine fits on very tight. I don't think I've dipped below 50% battery yet! I have the same issue I did with the 1500mah battery where it drops from 100% to 85-90% quickly, but past 85 it drains very slow. This battery is a steal for the money (I'm using the chinese ebay one that was $11 and some odd cents).

I just got my OboStore 2000mah batteries in the mail today. I put them on my jeweler scale and they weigh 3 grams less then the red HTC 1500mah batteries. Not likely that they've got more capacity but I'll charge them a few cycles on the external charger and see how they hold up.

At least the 3000mah battery weighed 20 grams more then the HTC 1500.

Yeah the Andida is feeling like a 1300 mah.
GREAT!! Thats wonderful to find out after I already ordered one for myself. Who was it in this thread saying that the 2000mah Andida from Obostore was great and lasted them all day??!! That is the reason that I ordered it. I already ordered a 3000mah from the OP's seller on ebay, but was planning on using the Andida 2000mah as my everyday battery and the 3000mah for the days I would be out away from my chargers....

Nothing about this thread is risk free! I bought two of them based on the same feedback. Same with the 3000/3500 batteries, does anyone really think they're getting 3500mah worth of capacity. If you do then I've got a bridge for sale! :D We're all just looking for more of the good juice! ;)

Some people think moderate use is a couple of phone calls, a dozen text messages and an hour of music too. . . . . . .

took some pics of my delivered battery and case with comparison pics

I ordered two of these cases and modded one for the 3000mah and one for the 3500mah seidio. I feel so much better knowing the sides are protected if I drop the phone. I highly recommend this route if you are worried about your phone being protected when using the extended batteries.

i just got mine yesterday, i live in chicago and it took 7 days on the dot. Ive never had something come in so quick from so far away...im not sure what the 'correct' way to calibrate it is but i used the phone when i first got it, worked the battery down to dead got it home and charged it, took it off charge/turned it on/plugged it in.....etc until i got 100% ......this morning i took it off charge at 7:20am its 8am now and im at eighty two % with heavy streaming texting streaming etc...im sure i will use it off and on from now until the end of the day...not really expecting much out of the first charge but should i let it go all the way down then charge it up for a couple cycles or what?
