Goodbye Eris!! What to get next?

Does anyone have a link or know what phones VZW will be rolling out from now to the end of the year? I've been searching but haven't had any luck in find anything. I'm looking to stay away from Motorola's (personal hatred) I love HTC but I don't want to get an Incredible because it's been out for a while already. Not opposed to Samsung but not entirely sold on the Fascinate

Haha, I have no doubt MOTO make great phones, I've just never been a fan. Thanks for the links, gona start checking them out

So, I've had my new X up and running for 12 hours or so and it is fantastic!:D This is how an android phone should run, blazing fast, no fc's, great form factor! Plus the battery life is great! At noon when i turned it on it had 90% it is only down to 80%!!

iPhone 4

So after my 5th eris took a dump yesterday, verizon is giving me a free upgrade!!! Courtesy and talking politely with a manager goes quite a long way. Now the question of the day is, which phone should I get?

1. Droid X?

2. Droid 2?

3. Incredible?

Thoughts people?

It's really gonna be up to you. I enjoyed my Eris except for the lag so I went to the Incredible and have loved it

I tried to get the DX , it wasn't my cup of tea didn't like the form factor at all. Then I actually bought a Fascinate and I can tell you the screen is gorgeous and the size of it is perfect, it feels great in hand and the keyboard works better with my bigger fingers compared to the Incredible.... That being said, the battery life is pathetic, the call quality was awful, it was VERY LAGGY compared to an Incredible, the camera quality wasn't on par with the Incredible and the GPS was a big problem. I also dislike the UI but that's not an issue as I ran ADW on my fascinate. Still I returned the Fascinate got another one thinking it might have been a problem with the phone and I still have the same problem and returned the second one. It had a lot of potential but really fell short

I would highly reccomend the Incredible or the Droid2 . I personally don't like physical keyboards but other then that it's a great phone

wow really? I've been hearing the battery life on the fascinate was very good (samoled) from other sources.

if true thats good news because the dinc is still my favorite verizon android. the fascinate looks pretty silly to me.

It shocked me too, I heard nothing but reviews saying the Fascinate battery was very good , I even gave it time to condition the battery and I just couldn't make it thru the day with either Fascinate unless I hardly used it. I even had it on my secondary line not getting use and it would be in the red by the end of my work day while my Incredible which was getting primary use was still over 60%.

Here is a screen shot of over 40hrs of battery on a TouchPro2 1500mah battery in my Incredible. NOw this is my typical use as I was very busy so my phone didn't get a whole lot of use. Maybe 30min worth of calls, 100texts, a few emails, some light internet surfing , a few pictures, BT MP3 for about an hour and about an hour of headphone mp3 . Brightness always on max, wifi and mobile network always on
I am not a fanboy of any brand, if it's got Android it's a winner .I have looked into upgrading to every Android Phone that Verizon has released and nothing has come out that impresses me more then the Incredible. Might just be waiting for the Incredible2 /HD whatever they call it that is rumored to come out around Christmas

...to be honest, Android just isn't there for me...

While i was with verizon and had an eris and the droid, droid inc and x
that was pretty much the only choice i have

I like at & t because i have the option of the iphone 4 which i had briefly
android, blackberry 6, and now windows 7

How did u like going from Android to the iphone4? You said you only had it briefly. Was it too restrictive?

I've said before, but I'd buy the hell out of an iphone...if they could put android on it.

come on xda, don't fail me now.

+1
I would buy a Verizon Iphone4 if FroYo would work on it in a heart beat. The camera and the screen are just phenominal
