Help Change vibrate when key is pressed

Lurker
Hi,

I would like to know where i can change the setting to disable vibration when a key is pressed (home, back etc....or any key on QUERTY keyboard). I tried to look through the manual, But couldn't find. Let me know.

Menu > settings > language and keyboard > Android keyboard > vibrate on keypress checkbox.

I have already checked this. Both (Vibrate on keypress and sound on keypress) are not highlighed in green. These are disabled. But still, i'm seeing vibrate and sound.

I could see the option enabled. But i'm unable to change this option when i click this. Am i not allowed to change this?. Let me know how i can change this.

I don't know how else to say this, but to turn off haptic feedback, you just click the right side of the word until the green check mark is gone?

It's kinda a dumb way they did the menu. To to some of the options, unclock Silent Mode first, and you should be able to access Haptic Feedback, among other things. You can reclick Silent and the settings will stay.
