Probably best to give it a miss then for now then.I don't even have time for websites I own, due to the fact my girlfriend is due to give birth, and the fact that we're moving home on monday

OK, Coming in for a quick Hi-Jack, LOL! Questions, if I debrand my phone (x10a #016 with AT&T), will it still work with AT&T? If yes, do I need to do anything special? Also, will I be able to get the #026 upgrade and will all of my upgrades now come direct from SE?
Looking to get my phone to a better level quick! Thanks!
And the ability to update...It will work but you will lose your APN settings.
Flashing your Xperia X10i to X10a (and vice versa) will result in SEUS not being able to update your phone for future updates.
What are you wanting to do?
Gain full root access or just de-brand?
If it's debrand you only need to run step 1 of the root process to flash the generic firmware or go the whole hog and get rid of that moxier crap!
I just followed this guy and paused the video as and when and rooted no issues but as I say just step 1 will debrand you

Have you read the links I've posted? Thanks for the reply. To clarify...
There isn't a standalone patch for the method listed by powerkiter to change from x10i to x10a, would be the underlying answer of your post, correct?
No need to get snarky. I did read through both & each of your links gives specific start to finish instructions about those 2 methods.Have you read the links I've posted?
I simply asked if you'd read the threads as asking...No need to get snarky.
...didn't seem like you had. There isn't a standalone patch for the method listed by powerkiter to change from x10i to x10a, would be the underlying answer of your post, correct?
Here is what you actually asked...My original question was if there was a way to change my x10i to x10a using another method (since I'd already done it) which your reply didn't directly answer
...as the method used in the video is from one of those guides wasn't sure why you needed to ask.Any tips for changing the phone from listing as a 10i to a 10a after using this method?
See above, you're saying it can't be done ignoring the fact that if you use those guides you are in fact able to change it back.I'm just trying to save any other AT&T users from wasting their time by advising them not to use the video method if you can't change it back to a 10a when it's done since there isn't any specifics mentioned about it.
Leave it installed.what if I dont want to lose moxier?
