What do your X Screens look like?

I got it mainly for the fonts, I've already changed the boot logo, boot animation and theme manually but I saw a font I liked the other day and noticed this tool box had it. Before I install ( the font)it I'm gonna search and see which one I like the best, or which ones go with which themes

So basically it worked for you?

Do you still have the Tranq launcher installed that came with Apex? That's the only thing I can think of that maybe hosed it for me since I removed it from my Apex install.

I removed the TranQ Launcher. I'm running LPP and it worked great for me. Not sure why it didn't work for you.

I use BigDX theme on Apex, it has a black status bar and the icons are the color of your choice (they have 8 different color themes)

BTW, if you are blurless and decide to run BigDX remove the blur apps (form the theme) before you install,(or just what you dont use

May I ask what your clock and weather widgets are, please? They look awesome in your layout!

No theme (I'm on the new stock rom released by p3droid).
I like my desktop simple and clean. Switch pro and a themed LPP widget.

It's really a basic setup. I'm rooted but that's not even needed for the setup. I'm not currently using any roms or anything.

It's just the following apps/widgets

Launcherpro - turn off the app labels
Launcherpro icons - to customize my icons and have more options
Simiclock 3x1 widget
Beautiful widgets - beautiful weather 4x1 (using the Tick skin)
Switchpro widget
Wave - Live wallpaper

That's about it... just tweak the various options until you get what you're looking for.

In order to get the SiMi Clock to "connect" with live weather, you have to place the SiMiClock on top then the Beautiful Live Weather underneath and if you have the paid version of LP - you resize the SiMi to go over the weather widget. You can use either transparent of no background on both. It's just sometimes if you have transparent, it will look as though the weather widget is behind the SiMi. It corrects itself sometimes, lol. Usually I have to go into the wallpaper option and set the transparency down and it fixes it.

Im looking for a way to get a black status bar though (on Apex) and not have to use Revo or NexTheme. Halp!

Also, if anyone knows of a cooler looking contacts and text messaging icons than what is pictured here, please let me know. Maybe a better App Drawer icon too.

You should look through this thread and see if you find any icons you like. I have posted many of my icons, docks, wallpapers, etc... for anyone who asked and I am sure everyone else would too. I like the smoked glass and simple clean sets the most with the android collection for folders.

As for the status bar, just change the files in the framework-res.apk. You can pull them from NexTheme, any other theme, or create your own.

Thanks I will have to go back and look again through this thread. I've got a lot of ideas in the past, just have to take the time to go back through these pages again.

As for the status bar, I've no clue how to change the files in the framework-res.apk. I smell some Google searches coming up.

You just pull/system/framework/framework-res.apk from your phone to your computer using adb or root explorer.
Extract it using 7zip or WinRAR.
Go to the res/drawable-hdpi directory under where you extracted it.
Replace the necessary files depending on what you want to change.

You can pull the images from a theme you like or create your own.

I think I will do a walk through tonight and post it here. I see a lot of questions with no good how to for the DX. The main thing is the statusbar_background.9.png which is the status bar which you want to change. You could also change the battery, status indicators, and all notification screen components.
