I am downloading this now and have a backup starting so as soon as it is done I will try this. I had no problem with the OC on 1.0 so I will give it a run for you.
 
^ can I install that over the original ApeX...if so, I'll give it a shot without clearing data.
PS, I'm on the OTA

The contacts look fine was able to go in and edit them with no force closes.
Overclocking works and I sent mine to high oc and it is just flying. I got a quad score of 1390 before applying the OC and with the OC got 1715.

This is a great update. This was fast without OC on it and now it is just flying.
 
Hey Fab. Love this ROM. I have the 2.3.15 version running and everything is great. Only thing is when I try to change apps in the Car Dock and I go to Other Applications it freezes up the phone and eventually Force Closes. Is there a fix for this. I thought I saw something in here about this but I don't see it now.

I have 1.0.2.1 installed, not the new 1.0.2.2

Very cool! I'm highly envious of your Droid's ability to clock to 1.38GHz. Mine stops at 1.1 :(

Ok, well the car dock apps didn't change between builds so it shouldn't matter..

Are you using the AOSP car home, or Motorola's Car Dock?

Car Home 2.2, not sure if it's AOSP or Motorola's. I downloaded it after installing ApeX 1.0 and it worked fine. Now it won't let me apply any apps that aren't under Car Applications. If I go to Other Applications is just freezes, but it used to bring up all the apps in my app drawer.

Works great, definitely no more FC's on contacts app, thanks! I wasnt brave enough to overclock though lol

aosp cardock works when I choose "other application" too fyi

So it's the one that came with the ROM, right? It should be version 2.2.1

I just tried adding an 'other application' and it did take a while for all of them to load, but I eventually got the list with all the apps and added YouTube.

Could it just be taking a while to enumerate your apps? Like if you have a lot? Otherwise, maybe try going into settings, applications, manage, all, find car home, and clear the data.
 
I'll be installing this shortly. I'm creating a back up of my current build right now, then I'm going to SBF back to 2.3.15 then load this. Does that sound like a good idea? :D

Yeah, but it might be overkill. The install script automatically wipes your system partition anyways :D

If you're already on 2.3.15, I don't think sbfing will do you much good really since you will wipe data/cache and the system will be wiped during the install. I could be mistaken or missing something though.

Also, I have been having this problem with other roms as well, but after restoring many of my apps with TI, I have this issue where when I hit home or the power button to turn the screen back on, the screen lights up dimmer than normal and doesnt respond to any touches on the screen or of the physical buttons.

I'm gonna try a fresh install and not reload anything from TI that i dont need to and not install widgetlocker and launcher pro for a few days.

You know, after several months of use, i've finally decided to ditch widget locker. I've never been able to get it to run "properly." A LOT of nagging issues disappeared after i stopped using it. It's a fantastic concept, but the locking mechanism of android seems to be extremely persistent.
 
OOOOOhhhhhh la la! I love how blazingly fast this is! I just need to set this up to how I like it! :D :D

I also LOVEEEEEEEEE the transitions. They definitely add so much more polish to Android! :D

I just have to install the 1.0.2 to fix the FC.

Are the added animations a setting or baked into the ROM? Some of them are cool but a few are a bit excessive for my tastes. Minor gripe really because this ROM is really smooth and fast. :D
 
It's been running almost flawlessly for me since last night (had one issue where it was stuck with the screen off, but i'd been listening to scanner radio for several hours so... coulda been that, had to do a battery pull though)
I've had it overclocked to 1.2 settings on ULV on JRummy's app since 7 this morning with no problems as well
Cant wait to see the themes for this!

It's been working flawlessly for me since yesterday at this time. I've been overclocked to 1.3 GHz the whole time (at lower than ULV) and have not had any reboots.
