Wow. I'm sorry about that. I have never had that happen to me before. I've used it on 3 different ROMs and never had any issues with it. I have it made in red, blue and green and cheange between them depending on the theme im using and that has never happened. I wish I could be of more help.

It's ok, I'm not sure how I did it, but I got it to work, but when I try to go back to the GB keyboard I get FCs, no big deal though, I like what you did with this, and use Swype 75% of the time :)
 
hey so im having a problem with my contacts. Theyjust arent recovering/showing up. The names appeared for like a second and then they just disappeared.

I just rooted and installed the rom from a fresh installed .340 without wiping cache or data. Am i gonna have to reinstall but wipe first?
 
Ok so im gonna have to go back to stock OTA, do the update, and put this rom on. Does this mean I have to reroot and if so is z4root still compatible? Also is the TBH tether patch still gonna work with this rom? I play ALOT of Black ops and that would ruin my day if i couldnt use my phone as a modem lol.
 
Hey Fab, got a question about the new market place .apk. When i went to install it threw terminal emulator this popped up.

"cp: cant stat '/sdcard/vending.apk': no such file or directory
unable to chmod /system/app/vending.apk: no such file or directory
vending.apk
has been installed to system
courtesy of fabolus"

but when i go to the marketplace app its the same old one.

Capitalization is crucial.

There's no error checking in the script, so it'll say installed even if it didn't.

Make sure that Vending.apk is on the root of your sdcard (not in any folders)

I've been trying to uninstall Backup Assistant using Titanium Backup,but it hasn't been working. It restarts the phone like it says will, but the app is still there when it boots up. I don't suppose anyone knows the exact filename to use with the uninstall terminal command? This program seems to be dug in tighter than a tick.

Use Root Explorer, navigate to /system/app/ and rename BackupAssistantClient.apk to BackupAssistantClient.bak (or .ap or .stupid or .whatever). Then reboot. Boom, gone.

edit: or you can use Fab's uninstall script - it's BackupAssistantClient.apk.

Will this new market apk fix my issues not being able to see everything in the market?
 
has anyone gotten the black asop keyboard to install by the method listed on page 1?

I installed the goodies.zip (worked because the appwidget thing is working), but when i try to install the bmt file via terminal emulator, it says it cannot find the file.
 
Can anyone explain how I can get white text in the drop down notification bar? The date and Verizon Wireless is in white text, but the notification themeselves are in black. Any suggestions?
