Root Help! Force closing constantly now!

When I deleted TW Launcher and a bunch of stuff I used Launcher Pro as the launcher, and that worked...on DI01. I flashed a DI05 rom and everything went to shit. I did a factory reset and reset in Odin, no luck.

Anyone know how I can just get back to complete stock with TW as my launcher so it doesn't force close?

Edit 1: Had a restore file in CW from 11/29.

Edit 2: Restored old files, now I know what to do. Thanks guys for being here in spirit :D

Okay, now I have no service whatsoever lol greatttttt (says I'm in airplane when I'm not and I cant call *228 to "activate"

Normally as soon as you rename twlauncher30 or whatever its called you get massive FCs which might require a battery pull. But that usually is all you need. Once you put the battery back in everything is fine. Its critical you put the LP launcher in the system/app folder before you nix tw though

this usually only happens when you have voodoo5 installed both adrynalyne and i had this issue about the same time...he fixed it by cycling cwr...i fixed it by disabling voodoo, flashing a nonvoodoo kernel

yup you cant delete/freeze without moving a different launcher into system/app

Me doing stupid things results Verizon in sending me a 2nd replacement Fascinate :D

*please* tell me you didnt warranty a "bricked" device....that is a total and complete justification of carrier/oem lockdown and one of the worst things you can do the hacking community

if you can get into clockwork you will be fine. Wipe data and cache then flash a dj05 rom. Should fix everything. No reason at all to be sending that phone back. Dont be too hasty

So are you no longer running Voodoo5? I've upgraded to DJ05 and appear to be running fine with Superfast. Looking for one of JT's Non-Voodoo kernels to try also. I was considering going to Voodoo5, but am scared of it because when I had voodoo on i01, and tried disabling it, it stuck me in boot loop. So if you had problems with Voodoo5, it makes me really nervous. From the reading that I had done, it appeared that 5 on DJ05 was a lot better, but with this news......

It is MUCH better :) of course most of the problems come from people disabling, which I've never felt the need to do, lol. Especially in V5 since you can make/restore nandroids.

FWIW, everyone has their own special little quirks. I've disabled and went back on at least 8-9 times this month already, its very quick and easy. I also have not run into the aforementioned problem/issue. Now by all means if you are hesistant to get on voodoo you certainly dont have to. jt's non voodoo and geeknik are very fine alternatives. In many operations there is no performance difference between voodoo and non

Ditto what Sap said, and I had all sorts of issues with the previous Voodoo. This one is easy to remove or just disable and I've also switched back and forth many times. I keep hoping it really does fix my lag but so far no joy.

I now run superdark Rom and a stupidfast kernel and it has great battery life and is just as fast if not faster than Voodoo.

Yeah that new 1.15Ghz kernel with the super uv is nice.

What are you running that you get lag? Which launcher? Lots of widgets? Lots of apps/processes? Lots of homescreens? I get a little skip in animations like opening my app drawer sometimes, but nothing I could truly call lag.

By 2nd replacement, I meant 2nd Android phone. I had a DX before this but traded it in for the Fascinate.

I flashed stock files on Odin and it seems to be working again :D It was weird...I had no hardware on the phone...it said "unknown" when it was screwey :D
