Root Clockwork-Amon Ra & Amon Ra-Clockwork

Am i correct in saying that these are the custom recoveries and NOT the stock recover?
@Borat38 - I'm not sure enough to answer on directory browsing, however I would recommend 1.2.5 as the recovery of choice. More options is almost always a good thing & it's the newest version.
@ k.c.cole - Yes these are custom recoverys (by Amon Ra I think) NOT STOCK!!

Good morning,

Just to clear a little confusion, these are custom recoveries. Both are meant to be flashed in recovery meaning you will already need to have a custom recovery installed. This will allow you to either switch from clockwork to amon ra 1.2.5 or from amon ra to clockwork, or from an older version of either to the latest.

Amon Ra is supported by drellisdee (getitnowmarketing) and the latest version supports sd:ext wiping, has directory browsing (meaning you can save zips to a folder in your sdcard and navigate, rather than saving on root)

Clockwork is supported by koush and crew, this is the latest version, I am not sure if the sd:ext wiping problem is fixed.

I noticed the old clockwork to amon-ra was the old recoveries, so I made new ones, these are recovery flashable, get them here
Hey Bro How do you sign your .zips so that you dont have to turn Verification off.

I have some people that are having the devil of a time with doing that.

Nice work by the way.

It seems that this may be one of the most under appreciated set of files on this site.
I have people that need these files ALL the time. I post these files for people to use all the time.

Savoxis did us all a phenomenal favor when he made us these.

So in case you dont know what they are or what they do... Here goes.

These are flashable zip files that switch back and forth between the two different recoveries. ClockWork and Amon-Ra Aloha.

People these are very powerful tools.

For instance Lets say I Root with SOC then I use Rom manager to initially flash Clockwork Now I can just use these files to Amon ra and back again.

I say all this Knowing that Rom Manager can flash Amon-ra 1.2.5, but honestly it is hit or miss. Sometimes it works.... sometimes it doesent.
with these zip files IT WORKS EVERYTIME.

So with all of that said how about everybody give ole Savoxis a nice Thanks Button hit.

Savoxis I would hit the Double Thanks Button if there was one. :D

Okay well first off, this thread has gone off-topic. Deleted a bunch of posts.

Second, every single person has the right to choose whether they want to root their phone or not. We are fortunate to have different methods of rooting for all levels of Android users, from beginner to the more experienced. Some users are more comfortable with certain methods than others and that is their opinion/feeling as well. We’ve all started out somewhere, we weren’t born with experience. It’s something you acquire over time and with experience comes knowledge. Learning is good for everyone. Beginners learn over time and become more comfortable at their own pace. There are pros and cons in different rooting methods but there is nothing to be ashamed about in any of them.

Finally, here's our Zero Tolerance Policy. Please read. If there are any questions or comments, please PM me. DO NOT post them in this thread. Thanks.
