Please post a link back to my thread and the mediafire links. I do not want mirrors to my files. Failure to comply will result in removal of this post and the video.

Update: Thank you. I don't mean to be a dick but I just believe that credit should be given where credit is due.

Aren't most of these files modified property of LG, Google, Verizon, or open source? It also looks like many others on this forum contributed to the original thread, do they also deserve some "credit given where credit is due"? Maybe I just don't understand what the Android OS is suppose to be, I'm new at this to.
BTW AllyWonders, looking at the number of people still having questions, and with the release of 2.2 right around the corner, taking the time to put together the video as a supplement to deathtoall110's thread and files is much appreciated, at least by me.

You are right, but usually credits are given to the people who made the modifications possible. For example, the person who create most of a theme/ROM/project would receive credit, but this person would give credit to the other people who helped him where he posted his stuff. Kind of hard to follow, I know. There is no copyright infringement, simply some kind of honor code. Recognition is usually the only thing you get from spending a lot of your personal time doing this kind of stuff to help other users, so when you see that your stuff is "stolen", you don't get such a good feeling. I hope this didn't confuse you even more, maybe someone else could phrase this better. Regarding big corporations, people in smaller communities usually get that you based your work off from their software, although you can give credit to the big companies if you feel like it.

As for the current thread, well it seems everything turned out to be fine. Boy do we like seeing agreements. ;)
