Anybody wants Fallout 3

This game sucks, I copped it for $9.99 @ gamestop and didn't even bother to read up on it before I bought it. I looked at the cover, figured it would be a tight shooter/horror game that I could add to my arsenal and said what the heck, it's only 10 bucks. There's nothing in the world I loathe more than rpg games. I never could get into the whole final fantasy type genre. I've tried but turn based fighting is just too boring to wet my appetite.

If you want the game can be yours for a low low price of $5 or if you want to trade something similar.

RPGs are awesome. You haven't had the opportunity to play great games like Mass Effect yet. I could've told you to stay away from Fallout though. Shit is boring. Some people love it though which amazes me.

ill take it. i played the game and loved it but never got around to buying it.

Cool would you like to trade something?

man I've tried so hard to like RPGs but patience is not one of my better qualities. I remember buying FFX for PS2 and forcing myself to play it. I was trying to see what all the hype was about but it just doesn't interest me.

if they dont take it i will for $5, paypal ready.

fallout 3 was a awesome game, i regret trading it at game stop.

Have you tried the game or did you find out it was an RPG and not bother with it? It's not very fast paced by any means, but it's basically a FPS with RPG elements. Once you get out of Vault 101 you'll get to the wasteland and you'll gain access to different weapons and the entire wasteland is open to explore.

Yea I tried it out. I set up my character when I was a baby went through the whole birthday party spiel, kicked some thugs ass for messing with my chick. Talked to some old dude's daughter who later got pissed with me because I capped her father. Then ran around a bit and had it out with these 2 security guys and then I started to wonder, why is it taking forever for me to off these cats, one shot to the dome should be more than enough. I figured Oh well and finally made my way out of the bomb shelter, confronted some weird looking wolves and immediately got my ass kicked. After that I pretty much turned the game off and went to go pummel some poor unsuspecting kid in NBA2K11.

BTW - I wasn't really feeling the whole futuristic wrist band thingy, that shit was just too complicated to understand.

The 9mm pistol is pretty weak in the game but I agree, it should at least give you a headshot if you land one and not take 10 bullets to kill them. It's definitely a game you have to invest a lot of time in to get the "full" experience. I know I already have 50 hours logged into the GOTY edition and haven't finished everything yet.

To each his own. I assume you're playing it on a console, which is not the optimal experience for any Bethesda game. The PC versions have massive amounts of mods to make the game suited to your playing style. Furthermore, it's pretty clear you never played the first two games either, so you wouldn't understand the Pip-Boy or any of the back story involving the Vaults and their true purpose. (They're not just bomb shelters...)

Fallout 3 was a decent game, but has no replay value for me as I hate the whole opening Vault scene that takes forever to get through. New Vegas IMO is a much better game, although it still is an RPG first and a shooter second. That can be frustrating if you're coming from predominantly shooter games and expecting the same experience.

Oh I agree, I'm probably doing Fallout 3 a huge disservice but like you said, different strokes for different folks. It's just not my cup of tea.

hey just wanted to update you, i apparently already have a copy of this sitting in my game case. dont need it sorry for the delay and hassle

That's easily skipped if you save the game just before exiting the vault, when you're given the chance to respec your character. That way you can load it up, reallocate all the skill points etc as you wish and create a new toon ready to explore The Wasteland right away.

Fallout 3 was awesome. Never nothing to do or things to kill. The only problem i did not like about the game was the ending.

How do you like NBA2K11?

I don't know about best but it is without a doubt the most realistic basketball game ever made. You can string your moves together with IsoMotion dribbling control and everyone has their own signature moves so you have to learn each individual player's preferences. There's also a new feature called the Jordan challenge where you have to match 10 of Jordan's greatest performances to unlock Legend Mode.

The my player mode is awesome too. Right now I performed poorly at summer camp so I'm playing for the Bakersfield JAM in the NBDL until I can get my weight up. I'm averaging like 16pts 4 assists and 2 rebounds so hopefully it won't be long until I get a call from the LA Clippers. In your spare time you can also run full 5 on 5 online pick up games using your created player. There are so many cool features in this game.

Some say it's the best NBA game ever created but the critic reviews go against user reviews, drastically. Personally, I'd rather play NBA Street or NBA Jam.

Most of the critic reviews I've seen have been a A or better and nothing lower than a B-.
