2.3.3 released

That makes no sense at all. They should have just waited to release the update when they had the fix for the random reboot problem. Because it's getting annoying ever since I have rooted my phone i have experienced this problem way too much. Come on google give us the update we want.

No fix for random reboots, a slightly strange home key (admittedly I should have returned it earlier, now it has to be fixed instead of replaced if I decide to send it back), unusual behaviour with GPS in the cradle...

I'm starting to wish I'd stuck with the Nexus One, Desire HD or waited for the Optimus 2X.

This update really doesn't interest me.

I havent gotten it yet, but its nothing special. so who cares. Miss my nexus one (minus the sporadic 3g issues)

I've only experienced random reboots after I used SetCPU but it was possibly my fault for setting it up wrong. Other than that, I've never experienced any random reboots on my phone.

Yes a few people have gotten it. They have a link to manually download it on XDA. If you want i can find a link.

You sure? I've seen no valid links in Nexus S General the past week.

I guess you were right. The thread that I read said some people had got it. But no proof, and the link i saw was to something else. Sorry if anyone got their hopes up. Hopefully it will start rolling out soon.

What was happening with your home key?

Basically it is locking out so sometimes on a single short press they phone will give a double haptic feedback and get stuck on the recent apps screen for around 5-10 seconds.

Again, this issue or similar is on Google's forum.

Facebook? - If so I thought that would come from Market?

Technically it's more of a change to Contacts than to Facebook, but it affects the way the Facebook app works. The update basically changed the way Contacts worked, such that it can only sync with data directly on Google's cloud. Previously, it allowed the Facebook app to modify the Contacts app and pull from Facebook's cloud. Google wants to unify the way Contacts are managed, and this will force Facebook to use the same APIs as everyone else.

The update will also change the colors in the display for the worse.
They looked grayish and washed out now.
Sucks out loud!
