At the top of Root Explorer, there's a button that says 'Mount R/W' press that, then paste it in.

i did reflash and it did go into db mode.i did what u said and i got that read only error. I did what u told some other guy to mount R/W and it worked. I copied all the files and applied the patches so i guess everything seems to be fine so far. Is there some way of reinstalling all the apps i had before without doing it one at a time ? They should still be in my SD.Thanks a lot !

Np! Did you make a backup in recovery before you flashed?

UPDATE: I have created a simple file that will install CyanogenMod for you! Just follow the instructions in the Instructions to install CyanogenMod section of the first post!

That should sort it

Flash just doesn't work because the processor can't handle it.. Flash Lite is pretty pointless, so I can live without

I guess so, as long as you have the correct KDZ file.. Why would you wanna go down to 1.6 anyway?

Since upgrading from 1.6 I have a problem with network. I'm on 3 UK and calls not passing through sometimes when Mobile Internet is ON. I tried Russian 2.1D, Carphone Warehouse 1.6B,C, SwiftDroid, all the same.

Do I understand correctly that after I installed fastboot I can't get rid of it and if I have fastboot-enabled KDZ it should work. Or any KDZ will erase fastboot?

Oh I see.. Fastboot only comes with certain ROM's like the ones in this post, if you install another ROM, it probably won't have fastboot.

Go to your LauncherPro homescreen and press Menu> Preferences>General Settings>Keep in memory that should fix it, if you're experiencing problems with it after that, then disable it

It does it whenever i exit from an app back to homescreen still.
