Well considering our SGS launched last its not too surprising. I mean Captivate was out 3 months before Fascinate. If their Froyo drops tomorrow that would be like the SF officially it in May

I rooted my phone and loaded the leaked 2.2.. I bought the car dock, installed heres my results: IT SUCKED

Because they go thru the USB for the sound, guess what? the phone (if plugged in to the car adapter) did not charge enough to keep up with the screen being on, using Navigate, and streaming Pandora. After about an hour on the road, my battery was close to 25% battery life... It even showed the icon as being plugged in, and nada. Their car mount design was horrible, they should have had it go thru the 3.5mm headphone jack.

Also I hated how the stock phone is FORCED to use VZNavigate and Bing Maps in the "Car Mode". Tell you the truth I sent my phone back to verizon, my wife doesn't use hers in the car, so we kept hers.

I'll stick with my Droid X, Much better phone if you like using it in the car...
 
I'm passing time waiting for Froyo customizing my old boring unrooted Fascinate. I'm insanely happy w/ how I have it set up right now, the speed, gps, everything is fantastic. I had iPhone envy for years and still would choose this unrooted, unfroyoed (sp) phone over it. My prediction is that we will get froyo before 12-21-12... for sure. Or maybe by the first of Octember. Let's all chilllllllllll out, k? :rolleyes:

It doesn't surprise me. As everyone's been saying, EB01 is still buggy. Not quite prime time ready.
